I fell so far these last 6 months. My wife left me for someone else, my friend died, my dog died, I got addicted to blues (Fentanyl).. now I’m back to where I started. I had to remind myself how much God loves me and how favored I am. God bless anyone going through a hard time. It will pass and I can’t say you’ll feel better but you will be stronger and have the strength to over come. I love you all ❤️

I think some people interpret the line "We’re still the kids we used to be" as a self-critique: 'We may think we’re great, but beneath the surface we're all still children', in other words, a reminder to be humble. On the other hand, it can also be interpreted as an affirming reminder of our inherent human value: 'We may struggle to be good; we may feel low, but that purity that was once inside us is still present. We're still the kids we used to be.' I think the way you intuitively read this line says something meaningful about your psyche; for instance, I naturally read it as a self-critique. I feel that, no matter how much I improve, on some level I remain destined to repeat my past mistakes. The only thing that can stop me is humility, and this lyric delivers that to me and helps to ward away my hubris. I think it's possible that this was intentional on Kanye's part, as both interpretations apply to him so well. What I know with certainty is that artists often don't consciously realise the full depth of their art, so I'm sure that Kanye understood both interpretations at least subconsciously.

“We’re still the kids we used to be” is seriously one of the best lyrics ever written. It so simply reminds us that no matter what you have gone through or what struggles and trauma god has thrown at you, we’re are still all human. We all bleed and have the same heart that we had before we knew the reality of the world that we live in. We still have the choice to wake up excited about going outside or eating ice cream. It is the little things that we need to appreciate about our lives and about ourselves. Be true to the kid in you, and relax. Enjoy the ride.

This brought plenty of issues that weren't dealt with properly from my past. What followed were 3 years of therapy, anger, shame, guilty, rage, attempt of suicide, alcohol, drugs, all while trying to do a degree with a very low income, in a city far from my family. This album reminds of this period and this remix nearly made me cry, as I listen to it now, 3 years later, I finished my degree with a first class and have secured a stable job as an engineer in the biggest transport company in London. Thank you for this masterpiece, this is surely one of the best I've had the pleasure to listen to. Keep it up. 👏🏻

I used to hear this when I was at the peak of my depression, around august of last year, I used to always cry around 8p.m. hearing this song feeling alone and wondering where my life went wrong, thinking I should have made better decisions and thinking It was my fault and that I was feeling that way for actions I did negatively to the world. thinking I deserved everything that has happened to me, feeling my life wasn't for any use and it would end somewhere soon, now that I have "cured" my depression or I so, by going to therapy and noticing that I wasn't alone just that I made things that made me feel alone, now I think I think very differently and the memories this song brings to me just remind me of those feelings I used to have, a song that has marked a chapter of my life, a reminder of what life is, can and will be, now I can express myself, a more mature version of myself. Remember that you are not alone and if you think that you are alone just sleep tonight knowing someone out there is looking out for you, you just are not looking where you are supposed to.

I'm so glad you're doing so much better! Know you're not alone 🤍 this song just touches my soul. Last year was really hard for me, and I remember listening to this wanting to really feel " and nothing hurts anymore I feel kind of free". It was like a heavy blanket on me for everything I went through. Now I feel better and can truly feel those words, everyday is different of course it can't alway be happy.

The weirdest thing about Kanye is how right he gets things that have no business existing at all. Like the music he makes, or any other artform, at face value is just stupid - but when you actually listen to it, it all makes sense. I feel like what he does can't really be recreated or mimicked since its always out of left field. Guy is undoubtedly crazy but consistently stays a genius.

Love how this has no spike in most listened to section, everyone here just listens to the whole track. It's a testament to how good this is.

it wasn’t a feature when this video came out
@ClassicalPod10 ай бұрын
@jeremy-em6kh but it's there now, what's your point?
@jeremuky10 ай бұрын
@@ClassicalPod that what you said just isn’t true lmfao it’s just because the video came out before that feature was implemented so it’s not gonna show anything
@ClassicalPod10 ай бұрын
@jeremy-em6kh but it is showing, and on the feature it shows there's no major spike. So what's your point?

someone's got to make a playlist of all these random kanye mixes floating on KZbin. Every month or so I find one and it's always at least great. Edit: I made a playlist myself: kzbin.info/aero/PLuRspe_jSdCASwXxoVfOh8e732crFLHXC I'll keep updating it as well.

This is an edit of Ghost Town to loosely recreate a live version including the Sunday Service Choir. It is edited with Default_Miserable and and he is also the one who created this video. This may be my favourite edit I've been involved in making. Edit: Full album???

Kanye's freestyles you can clearly tell when its a freestyle, and when he started that off the script freestyle it just somehow clearly showed he really is in a league of his own not only for being a producer and rapper but just purely being a rapper. He's not just a jack of all trades, ye is the greatest rapper that ever lived.
