That is why I love this song so much. I’ve always interpreted it as Kanye writing a letter to himself. I resonate with it so much for that reason. It’s so poetic, not just in a lyrical sense but in a destiny way. I listen to this and I feel represented. It’s a conversation I would have with myself. No one has ever been able to transcribe my thoughts, not even me. But Kanye West does it here, despite never knowing I existed. I’m so grateful this song exists, even in my darkest of hours, it can bring me back down to Earth.
