Kanye gave me the confidence to acknowledge my worth, value, and exceptional talent openly. People don't like the security within another person because they're insecure themselves. That's awesome man, beautifully said, genuinely - but it's 2022 now. Ever since 2016, Kanye has regretted his Yeezus phase. He negated calling himself a God. He knew it was satanic to see himself as equal to God and Jesus. Have confidence in yourself as Kanye does, but don't embrace his Yeezus era which he looks back on as a mistake. Kanye is not a satanist, don't succumb to his flawed 2013 self.

Kanye won't be appreciated untill he's dead. In my opinion, he's one, if not the most talented artist hip hop has ever seen. There will never be another Kanye after Kanye... We all know Drake, J Cole & Kendrick are at the top. .. But Kanye's legacy isn't tainted. Swish coming soon ...

Trying to define the KW phenomena is like trying to bite your own teeth. Anybody that bucks the trend is inevitably going to get a barrage of criticism and abuse. Agreed, KW doesn't help matters by his rampant egomania and nonsensical outpourings but his name will always be included in the RnR pantheon because love him or loath him he's charismatic, unique and has nerve and talent in abundance.

defgmx - YES. Kanye speaks in parables. You ask, and he starts telling a story, which at first doesn't seem relevant. Those who understand him, like this girl and Charlemagne, they keep shush, and give him the time he needs. It looks like he collects answers from a visual short film which he first downloads from his brain. During that silence, he wants no noise, it distracts and frustrates him. He's a good heart, like wife Kim.

The Last bus story was amazing. It was a literal story about a real time when he missed the bus and had to deal with that by staying downtown and sleeping in a car park until he next morning. At the same time, it is also just about having to deal with the fact that you wont always capitalize on every opportunity and you will have to deal with that mentally and emotionally and work through those missed chances till "the next morning" when your next opportunity arrives. Just a great story and a wonderful ideology to pass along to your children regardless of income or status in life.

Just search for Kanye on the channel. The thing with Kanye is that he can't speak as fast as he thinks, that's why he sound the way he does. Never been a huge fan of Kanye. Not because of his music or because his personality, it's just never clicked with me. However, I did have an opinion on him that was brought upon me based on social media, news, and tabloids. I thought of him as narcissistic and selfish. However, after watching this video I was able to grasp how he truly is. He creates what he wants. He is helping the future or at least trying. He is such an intellectual thinker. Truly want to meet him one day

Some of the points I really love in this: - He backtracks. On the question of if his fame helped him, he talked about what was difficult of the fame, but then he corrected the notion, because he acknowledges that fame clearly helped him. - "Not taking any free points." A lot of people would've given him props for a political message to the clothes, but if it wasn't part of his intention, he's not going to take those props if he really didn't mean it.

It's true that the way he expresses himself, "I am Michaelangelo" , "There's a new form of racism- classism" may sometimes come across as arrogant and snobbish but when you shed the thin outer layer you really start to see someone who is actually driving for justice in this world. He disapproves of racism and he faces adversity nonetheless pursuing his goals regardless. He disapproves of classim, he believes that if you have passion and talent for ART (and a lot of things) you should allow yourself to go for it. People do genuinely not give you a chance if you don't have a degree and although he respects degrees he doesn't believe it's fair to not be given a chance (personally I liked his collections). He always tries to go for what he wants and he (at least ) feels that people are always getting in his way and not giving him a fair chance. He IS emotional and he IS creative, quite frankly he has to be one of the only real ARTISTS.

I love this interview for so many reasons. But a big reason why is just how the interviewer lets Kanye sit in silence when he needs it. Most interviewers will try to interject through the silence to break the perceived awkwardness. But Kanye is just searching through his feelings in that silence. And several times in this interview after these long silences, Kanye ends up saying something very heartfelt and authentic.

There are thousands of people with more money than him. Zuckerberg and Bill Gates should be doing more. Even Julia Louis Dreyfus is a multi billionaire. Kanye's not even close to being one and he's donated millions through charity over the years.

I totally get Kanye with his thoughts on the luxury of information. It's like when you talk to someone whether in person or not, to ask a question to get information and sometimes you don't even know the right questions to ask; depending on who you speak to, you come out knowing no more or less or knowing more or just getting what you wanted. The rarity is when you get that one that gives you what you wanted and more of what you didn't know even when you didn't ask or know to ask. That soul is appreciated.

He might not be the greatest ever, but I can tell by just listening to this man that his thoughts DO matter. He is one of the only living pop icons who provokes thought and speaks truths that haven't even crossed your mind. His speech is so muddled because he cant speak as fast as the speed at which his thought trains branch out. They branch out so much, and so fast that he skips from one train to the next and back again to the first that one mouth can't describe what happens in every scenario. I can't believe how he can even keep track of the original question.
