That's awesome man, beautifully said, genuinely - but it's 2022 now. Ever since 2016, Kanye has regretted his Yeezus phase. He negated calling himself a God. He knew it was satanic to see himself as equal to God and Jesus. Have confidence in yourself as Kanye does, but don't embrace his Yeezus era which he looks back on as a mistake. Kanye is not a satanist, don't succumb to his flawed 2013 self.

defgmx - YES. Kanye speaks in parables. You ask, and he starts telling a story, which at first doesn't seem relevant. Those who understand him, like this girl and Charlemagne, they keep shush, and give him the time he needs. The Last bus story was amazing. It was a literal story about a real time when he missed the bus and had to deal with that by staying downtown and sleeping in a car park until he next morning. At the same time, it is also just about having to deal with the fact that you wont always capitalize on every opportunity and you will have to deal with that mentally and emotionally and work through those missed chances till "the next morning" when your next opportunity arrives. Some of the points I really love in this: - He backtracks. On the question of if his fame helped him, he talked about what was difficult of the fame, but then he corrected the notion, because he acknowledges that fame clearly helped him. - "Not taking any free points." A lot of people would've given him props for a political message to the clothes, but if it wasn't part of his intention, he's not going to take those props if he really didn't mean it.

It's true that the way he expresses himself, "I am Michaelangelo" , "There's a new form of racism- classism" may sometimes come across as arrogant and snobbish but when you shed the thin outer layer you really start to see someone who is actually driving for justice in this world. He disapproves of racism and he faces adversity nonetheless pursuing his goals regardless. He disapproves of classim, he believes that if you have passion and talent for ART (and a lot of things) you should allow yourself to go for it. People do genuinely not give you a chance if you don't have a degree and although he respects degrees he doesn't believe it's fair to not be given a chance (personally I liked his collections). He always tries to go for what he wants and he (at least ) feels that people are always getting in his way and not giving him a fair chance. He IS emotional and he IS creative, quite frankly he has to be one of the only real ARTISTS.

when he talks about how all his (celebrity) problems and how they actually dont really matter compared to people who cant even feed there children or keep them safe it really shows how smart of a person he is. Most celebritys act like there lives or show hard and that they go through so much and that there always being watched but kanye actually sees that his life could be a whole lot worse if he were poor and had nothing for his family. this man will be talked about 50 years from now

Wow. This video was so insightful. I really think Kanye's family has the biggest impact on his adjustment and growth. He has had family members die, and it fueled something, and he had members born and it fueled something. His story is a very human one

Interesting reference @ 3:15 "That's all going to change after Kim and I's lifetime." When speaking about bullying towards self creation/expression.. Two of the biggest celebrities of modern time, within a massive veil of their own, speaks of how we will go back to more 'spiritual times' almost.. Kanye is definitely on another level

Kanye loves his daughter, even from way back then (2015). Even to this day, he is protective of his daughter. A little girl needs her father... just as a boy needs his mother.
@bananakin943 жыл бұрын
I love this interview for so many reasons. But a big reason why is just how the interviewer lets Kanye sit in silence when he needs it. Most interviewers will try to interject through the silence to break the perceived awkwardness. But Kanye is just searching through his feelings in that silence. And several times in this interview after these long silences, Kanye ends up saying something very heartfelt and authentic.

@TheInfinitify7 жыл бұрын
karl nicholls You asked why he doesn't start his own record label. He did 13 years ago and it has signed tons of talent. Why is it on Kanye to do all of that? There are thousands of people with more money than him. Zuckerberg and Bill Gates should be doing more. Even Julia Louis Dreyfus is a multi billionaire. Kanye's not even close to being one and he's donated millions through charity over the years.

This man is undeniably a genius. Such an inspiration. I hate how the media paints him as a villain when he's a hero. He could do so many great things but he's limited. He's labeled as just another angry rapper. He will be remembered amongst guys like Walt Disney, Shakespeare, Steve Jobs. At least I'll remember him in that light.

I totally get Kanye with his thoughts on the luxury of information. It's like when you talk to someone whether in person or not, to ask a question to get information and sometimes you don't even know the right questions to ask; depending on who you speak to, you come out knowing no more or less or knowing more or just getting what you wanted. The rarity is when you get that one that gives you what you wanted and more of what you didn't know even when you didn't ask or know to ask. That soul is appreciated.

He might not be the greatest ever, but I can tell by just listening to this man that his thoughts DO matter. He is one of the only living pop icons who provokes thought and speaks truths that haven't even crossed your mind. His speech is so muddled because he cant speak as fast as the speed at which his thought trains branch out. They branch out so much, and so fast that he skips from one train to the next and back again to the first that one mouth can't describe what happens in every scenario. I can't believe how he can even keep track of the original question.
