@@v.k5417 incorrect, majority of those legendary producers have all said when working with Ye he USUALLY will take the lead. Because Kanye became who he is, a lot of people just assume he became lazy on production side of things and kinda took a backseat, but he never did

@@v.k5417 how does production and ability to sing to relate ? Side note Kanye can actually sing fairly well (not by like Adele standard, but he can definitely catch a melody) without auto tune. It’s the sound he wanted for the album. Regardless of that, Production has nothing to do with ability to sing. I can make trap beats and pop beats yet I can’t rap or sing at all. You can have an ear for music theory “notes” but not be able to replicate notes with your voice
