Do you feel it is right is be with friends and family who constantly leave and verbally beat you, cheat you and decive you?( If you had a illness that was called the suicide disease and 17 plus people a day end their own lives on my illness called RSD....and you were already going through mindbending hell to get through each day just to live would you allow those same people back inside your life to beat you more when your trying to be living free for Jesus Christ? I was born in a family that believes in Jesus we went to church every Sunday. I’m grateful don’t get me wrong but the thing is I never chose to follow Jesus. When I asked God to show me if I was suppose to stay in my marriage after finding out my husband was having an affair I opened my Bible app and Hosea 3:1. I chose to stay and things are getting better and I see my husband slowly coming to God. I could still use prayers it hasn't been an easy road.

My wife ended our short marriage because she was having an affair with a work colleague. We were church going born again Christian's but she refused to see what she was doing was wrong. I was completely heart broken and wracked with pain at the thought of another man having sex with my wife who I loved deeply. This video made me cry. When Hosea comes to purchase his wife back, I thought about how God has taken me back, even after I had turned my back on him for so many years, creating damage in the world to those he put in my life and dishonoring him. Yet, in his infinite mercy, he called me back to him and accepted my repentant heart. I thank him every day for his great mercy. I saw how powerful and loving and patient God is with his children. I did not deserve any of his mercy but he gives it to me, not because I am worthy, I am not, but because he is merciful to forgive.

Me and my wife have been through many ups and downs. I've broke the covenant of my marriage. But through the grace and love of Jesus, we were both able to work through and recognize what was evil and deceptive, and what lead me towards my sin....which was my heart at the time. We have to seek God, even through hardships and loses, and have to rebuke sin for what it is. He will give your heart new desires. He even gives me peace in my sleep now, which was not a regular thing considering my guilt that was eating me alive at night. God is good always, and always God is good.

I married young and we now have a gorgeous blessing of a daughter.However, when my child was a toddler there was physical DV in my relationship. I too had seen violence as a child and saw my bright intelligent child become fearful of what each day would hold.I tried to stay, but I saw myself wilting and felt fear for my child and her future- as I now suffer mental health issues that were there thru a tumultuous childhood but were exacerbated by the issues in our marriage.I was no saint either I assure you.Her father and I now co-parent and she is a happy, vibrant and confident teen who I believe is a God fearing Christian. I am still married to her father on paper but even if I wanted to return to him,I don't believe he could ever love me the same again. We both had long relationships while our daughter grew, but are recently both single(both of our BF/GF were not Christians) and I believe they are not in our lives fora reason( as tough as it was for me- having so much anxiety due to my desire to rebuild a happy family dynamic for myself and my daughter). The bottom line is that,my ex and I have a decent relationship now but leaving initially felt like I was saving my kiddo and her love for both her mom and dad. I am so scared to finalize the divorce and wonder if then I will have to be alone forever as all I ever wanted was an awesome, intelligent, tender and Christian man to love. IDK WHAT TO DO!!!!!I guess it is time to pray! Please forgive me as I was not perfect by any means...and I know my ex and I have both changed for the better. @@cooljc26 there is a difference in condemnation and conviction of the Holy Ghost. God sanctifies - not us. Many people see their sins and they are trying to sanctify themselves. We are God's workmanship. And it is God who sanctifies us and declares us righteous by the blood of Christ. Yes the blood only can work to the obedient Christians. Just like in the days of Moses, the blood has to be applied, and the people have to stay in the house. If you go outside of the house you are not protected by the blood. However. It is God who makes us obedient. It is God in us that creates the desire to do His will and obey Him. The Holy Ghost is constantly transforming us, it is all God who makes us what we are. However, we do have to be obedient and surrender our will to allow the Holy Ghost to work. We do have to sacrifice, we do have to pray in times of temptation. But my comment was not meant to give a sermon to this brother, my comment was to encourage and help him to move forward in Christ without shame/guilt/doubt in hope and in faith and in love. Legalism is a far worse crime than plain iniquity because it is so sneaky and deceptive and so vain. It is very important that we Christians remember that the mystery of God is Christ and the mystery of godliness is Christ in us it is literally 100% God that does anything whatsoever good through us. To God be all the glory as He is the only good one. So yes, the disobedient do not enter into God's rest, but the guilt and shame one may feel after walking after the flesh is discernable and it falls into two categories. Condemnation - and conviction/judgement. If we judge ourselves (according to our Divine Mirror - the Word of God, in truth and sincerity, carefully examining ourselves) then we shall not be judged. However, if you really have the Holy Ghost and are born again you will have a difficult time being habitually disobedient because God is going to work it out of each of us according to our own fleshly corruptions. He who is born of God cannot sin. When we realize sin, we die to it, because the Spirit of God moves within us and causes us to be more than conquerors. Only Christ is the victor, and only through Christ, literally, are we victors too. It is Christ who finishes us. If we do not judge ourselves its because we are not reading the Word and examining ourselves truthfully, and then the guilt we feel which could be conviction easily is translated into condemnation, and condemnation serves no purpose to sanctification.
