Yeah by far is pushing it. But it's without a doubt a top tier album for all kanye fans. It's the easiest album to like. Whilst also still being boundary pushing. It was extremely fresh in 07. Was nothing like it on the market. Miss those days.

I am a Colorado native. Denver, born and raised, and during the time this album came out I was living in Aurora, Colorado and working downtown, which was roughly 20 miles away and made for a 40-50-minute commute into town every day. Between 6-7am I was driving towards the mountain range with the sunrise behind me illuminating the city and the mountains, I had an amazing system in my car at the time, and I would BUMP KAYNE ALMOST EVERY SINGLE MORNING!!! I SWEAR my adrenaline was pumping by the time I arrived to work, and I was ready to tackle the day like none other. With a good coffee and great music on the way to work I had never felt better, more powerful, more confident and buzzing with energy in my entire life. Thank you Kanye for those memories. I miss those days and that commute so damn much.

I remember when this came out, he was having a face off album release with 50 Cent, very defining moment for hip hop. It showed that you don't have to sell a hardcore image to a broader audience. It's the reason Kendrick, J Cole, Childish Gambino, Tyler the Creator, Kid Cudi, even Drake are the biggest names in hip hop.

I remember seeing that showdown being a monumental point in music and it felt like the sales would be really close but afterwards it was mind blowing how big of a jump Graduation beat Curtis by. I admit it was late news since I didn’t have a TV in my room at that time I was 7 or 8

No, we need a giant set of speakers and a concert. Let's invite Kanye and remind him of what he once was. Let's invite Eminem, dedicate it to him for keeping it real, dedicate it to Kanye for obvious reasons, and get a collaboration going. Let's invite Lil Wayne and Nicki Manaj so we can burn the witch and bitch at the stake. Let's invite T-Pain to bartend (Get it?). Let's get every really good underground rapper to get the word out. Let's play Tupac, Biggie, Nate Dogg, and all the other martyrs of rap in tribute. Let's make an artistic paradise where anyone with a mic and a good rhyme or two can make their dreams true. Let's make a place where the ghetto doesn't exist. Let's get Coolio to make party jams again instead of porn soundtracks. Let's invite Jay-Z, JT and Royce da 5'9", Snoop D.O. double-G, Drake, and the other big names to show what we as a community want to see. Let's invite Dr. Dre so he can get his shit together with his album. Let's save our genre from those that screw it over. Let's get rid of the evil word Hater from the world's lexicon. Let's end it with a collaboration with every amazing rapper still alive in a grand celebration of Hip-Hop's grandeur in this moment.
