One of the best Ye moments of all time. This shit has aged like a fine wine.
@CharlieCoops2 жыл бұрын
It was incredible at the time. Saw it on tv here in England with my mouth wide open. No one is picking up in the comments that Kanye got Skepta and loads of Uk artists on stage with him because they were being snubbed by the Brits/UK mainstream awards shows. This was the most baller shit he did and changed the course of UK rap into the mainstream. Honestly so fucking baller.
@b8IIin2 жыл бұрын
@@CharlieCoops straight up, this was one big statement. By putting a whole group of grime heavyweights up on the Brit awards was like them saying "we're gonna be here wether you like it or not you can't ignore us". This has to be up there with some of the hardest shit Kanye's done
@dwaynegaines16832 жыл бұрын
Facts tho. The recorded version never hits like this live one. Always replaying every few months
@tigersteffi2 жыл бұрын
We all expected him to perform Only One because that was all what he was performing at the time. He talked about this song in interviews and was fully intending on releasing it as a single but never did. So it was a huge surprise to see him perform this at the BRITs cause no one saw it coming. The song still wasn’t out. I believe if you go back and listen to the song you can hear this same performance being sampled cause Kanye was still working on it.

Breath control by Kanye in this performance is just spot on. He sounds great and there is no backing track. Most artists would just be wheezing on the mic.

Alam Khan the fact he can rap as hyped as that without a backing track is def impressive. Kendricks another who can do it. Guys like Travis Scott and Migos who make great hype music like this always have backing tracks which puts me off going to their shows
@abellambessa12166 жыл бұрын
Alam Khan great observation. He’s always been good at pacing his breath when performing. I think that’s prolly how he innovated that lil shoulder throw he does in gold digger and sorta trademarked it as one of his dance moves.

It's become popular to hate on Kanye, but he's seriously a genius, fuck what the media and white America tell you.
@AVarStunts9 жыл бұрын
Why did you bring up racism? Racism has nothing to do with it, at least to some people like me who just don't like him as a person because he thinks he's a god and that he's better than everyone else. Look at how he treats his fans at times and the media at times, it's disgusting. And those stunts he pulls at awards aren't exactly genius.
@martyrmayne9 жыл бұрын
Aaron VargasNV If you care this fucking much about a single person and you think how HE treats THE FUCKING MEDIA is disgusting, you should probably reanalyze your life kid

Thank you, I'll make sure not to give my opinion on certain topics when I have free time because I'm not allowed to have free speech right? Apparently it hurts people's feelings. Kanye probably doesn't even care about why I think, why should you? It's not like Im hurt about what you just told me because all you did was curse with a weak argument. Maybe I do care too much about Kanye, but I just want to see influential people, or any person for that matter, lead by example, not with a bad attitude. He's not my life though, I can say that. Did you see what I did there? I stated an argument without being crude or mean. To be honest I shouldn't be wasting my time with this useless argument. Hopefully it's the last time. Have a good day sir.

One of my favourite performances ever. The people with Kanye on that stage, MY people, are usually denied access to stages like that. He's visually representing unheard voices. Black, in all black. The 'we in the house' line. The flame throwers burning through perceptions of what should be allowed in a place like that. Bold and Black af. This performance is inspiring.
