My new fave Netflix show! Hoping for a season 2. The actors do such a good job and the world is perfect esp for someone who loves Greek mythology like me.

I think some people havent actually read greek mythology A lot of greek gods werent straight by any means A accurate depiction of them would log9cally have these elements

This series is amazing ❤️ Loved it and praying for a season 2 and 3 🙏🙌 The cast, cinematography, and story are just GREAT. Reminded me of American Gods, The Magicians, and The Boys, in the best way 👍👍

Everyone who's commenting about the so-called "forced woke lgbtq agenda" of the trans storyline in this show, please be aware before you comment. You dont have to like or approve of every lgbtq storyline in every show, and I agree that sometimes it gets shoehorned in there in a way that feels like an agenda. But the character of Kaeneus being trans is totally true to the myth. Original Greek mythological Kaeneus/Kinas was absolutely female-to-male transgender. And its not the only trans story to go with, either (Hermaphroditus, Tiresias, Leucippas....I could keep going). By denying this heritage, and insisting that a portrayal of a trans or gay Greek mythological character is woke, or forced, or bending the material to fit an agenda, you make yourself fit the ignorant, even stupid mold often assigned to people who complain about woke. If you dont like seeing it in every show these days, say so, but dont pretend lgbtq isnt true to the source material.

Right! My especial favorite is everyone pretending they know Greek mythology yelling about a forced woke agenda because Kaeneus was trans when actual mythological Kaeneus was actually trans.

According to Greek mythology Zeus was a equal opportunity sexual assaulter in the myths He slept with whoever he found attractive Yes that was a man at a point, Ganymede A lot of the Greek gods weren't straight by any means The Greek gods if you're accurate to what they actually are are the definition of woke lgbtqi The goddess Hermaphrodite is even in Greek mythology This is a original show not a documentary
