If you still claim not to know what these "objectionable-to-Sibal&Co." facts are, you are not really seeking enlightenment!

The preponed of Independence was due to the fact that that Mountbatten wanted to leave India as soon as possible, maybe to save his marriage as Nehru was after his wife. This love affair costed India a huge part Kashmir, millions of Punjabi & Bengali lives, loss of Shindh etc. And the loverboy got away by awarding himself Bharat Ratna, and right after few years surrendered another huge chunk of J&K state to china.
