Funny story, my friend has the same bike, I have a 03 Dyna FDXP with a 04 95ci S&S Hot setup , not the fastest HD but she’s quick , so I look at that husky and automatically figured it can do 100 120 easy? Hell no! Those bikes as awesome as they are! Definitely don’t go no 100 , I still can’t believe it but it was the first time my old Dyna police bike was actually faster then something else! lol not bragging, I know it’s a 450 vs a 1550 but was nice to finally be faster then something! We actually lost him about 5 exits behind us, but dam , it does look fast!

I’d say, for me the husky 701 or KTM 690 supermotos are the ULTIMATE hooligan machines but those 450 supermotos are ridiculously fun to ride lol.

@@dimmacommunication yeah you are right! on the 450 smr/fs 450 you need to change the oil every 5 hours! on the excs you should change it every 25 hours!

Beautiful, sharp looking, and fast bike, no doubt, if you are into 4 strokes. The only thing I've ever liked for strokes for, when it comes to motorcycles, are the 4 cylinder 4 stroke engines in Japanese Sportbikes.

straight up nasty..........ive been waiting for ken senior or junior to show us their STOPPIE skills and this would be a good candidate to try it!!!....welll not the safest to try in the rain but its all good..LOL......i really like how that header pipe has the power bomb style type mid section that bulges out and in and it almost looks like a small 2 stroke pipe in a way ...in which i even know alot of 4 stroke guys that swear by their 450s but they admit that the 2 stroke expansion chamber pipe looks more elegant and nostalgic than the boring regular ole 4 stroke straight small diameter pipes that is on every design......so the fact that they gave this pipe a boost in cosmetic allure makes it that much cooler!!!!

They're built in Austria in the same factory as KTM. Everything on it including the engine is KTM. Husqvarna hasn't been built in Sweden in years. The brand originated in Sweden

Can anyone update me as to what specific “street legal” mods (like a full set one time buy comes with everything) I can get and where I can get them from as there is so many poor options out there - just need the ones that work and work well to fit I recently got the fs450 2017 with 40hrs on the clock so basically like new and want to convert it to the road 😅
