Those quick hitches are a bugger to put on. I had one and didn't like it. Once you get them on they are OK if everything is standard. A lot of my older stuff was not. With what you have it is a good fit. After putting up with bugs, weeds, and heat, the cab is a blessing. I've notice around here most farmers are getting into cabbed units now. Thanks for the videos. I really appreciate them.

Thanks for the nice feedback, appreciate it. Yeah, none of the implements are 'standard' with so many manufacturers. The cab is amazing and lets you work out in nasty weather; cold, hot, windy, dusty, etc. Take care

This is just a thought mower blades are made to be sharpen from the top side. You also should take them off and put them on a scale to make sure they're both equal so you don't have any vibration . Floppy disk grinder Wheels work great for sharpening them. Just a thought. Have you ever completed your Bridge that you're started with the railroad ties In between your two ponds ?

Yes somebody else mentioned it maybe from now on I'll just take off the top side a little bit. Don't think I need to weigh them quite yet at least until I feel something vibrating that seems a little off. Nope The Bridge Project is on hold but it's still on the list! Thanks have a good one

Kapper - You should check those black knobs and nuts on top of each loader arm- don’t ask how I know;) - if they vibrate loose the first time you lift the loader the c-channel will surprise you falling off suddenly. Nice job with the mower now, Back to work.

I own 2 Kioti tractors. Welcome to the pack. I have had a DK 55 for 16 years and a PX 9020 for 4 years. From that experience I advise you to keep a close eye on the loader mount bolts. Actually put a wrench on them now and then to make sure they are not broke off inside. The head will still be there but it's broke. I've had to weld the loaders on both machines. Take the loader off when ever possible.
@kapperoutdoors
@kapperoutdoors 4 жыл бұрын
I really don't ever take the loader off, but I'll take a look. What bolts are you referring to? Under the base of the loader attaching to the frame, or somewhere else. I thought the loader was pretty much all pins and keepers, but I will check it out thanks.

You may want to look for a gfic plug is tripped in the garage that would take out a whole wall of plugs. one time i had a service call for a furnace not working and found the furnace didn't have power and traced it back to a gfic plug in a upstairs bathroom on the same circuit and the breaker was still on. Dose the kioti have pto cruise where you just hit a button and it goes to pto rpm. thanks for the video.

Kapper, Keep touching up the blades get the most out of them because they're $$. Also when U replace them change out the fasteners, access to the nuts are through a peep hole on the decks. Make sure U torque those nuts after. We would send them out for "Sharpening & Balancing" if there was no chunks out or cracks in them. Usually once a season.

Nice work with the new Kioti and batwing mower Joe! I wonder if you can trace the wiring in the pole barn's plug circuit by using a pen style contactless voltage detector. With the breaker on, follow the wire from the panel with the detector where the wiring is accessible or the plugs with it, the detector will light up/beep if the wire or plugs are energized, you'll pinpoint the bad connection whether it starts in the panel on the actual circuit breaker itself, chewed wire or one of the outlet boxes closer to the panel on that circuit.
@kapperoutdoors
@kapperoutdoors 4 жыл бұрын
Yes that's a good idea I think I have a power light or two laying around. I'm hoping it's a GFCI that I didn't realize we had in the middle of the back wall, my wife reminded me of that. Although with the issues we had with the first electrician you just wonder. Thanks

Best of luck it's a great tractor! And a very solid company I did a lot of research when I bought my NX model. Personally I add virtually almost every option available. I would definitely get the tires loaded with fluid, and I think the other things I added was just extra rear remotes for sure, rear wiper blade and rear view mirror. And just be sure one of the rear remotes has a detent in case you ever rent an implement or something like a log splitter where you can use it properly. Good luck

Joe just bite the bullet and buy a dump trailer that you can haul your skid loader or excavator that you can keep outside on a battery maintainer it would free up space in your shop and be cheaper insurance than the dump truck less components to worry about a few thousand bucks for a transmission or few thousand bucks on a engine you could haul more material per load and less trips saving you fuel

I'd like to come and mow that for hey if you sell it to me. Long as you're not too far up into Illinois you're not much more than about a two-and-a-half or three hour drive for me

Yes it makes you wonder wirh that first electrician we had. However my wife reminded me that we do have a GFCI about halfway down that run so maybe it just got tripped and was something simple? Guess we'll see when I can get up there and take a look thanks and have a great day
