The first thing that comes to mind is that the machine uses the same amount of fuel to mow a fifteen foot wide instead a six foot wide path. You have more moving parts but that is only a maintenance issue. I have used one over forty years ago to mow corn field after picking the corn. The township mowed road sides and would park it in our field.

Josh, Enjoy the channel. I just received a T-1104 and a Woods 15.50 batwing this past Monday. I agree it is a nice setup. I was mowing some property I just purchased and found a wet spot. That is when I learned that the 4-wheel drive would not engage on the T-1104. If you have not confirmed the 4-wheel drive and/or differential lock work properly, have your dealer check it out before you need it. Some of the T-1104 tractors have an issue with the solenoids that activate these two features. There is a burr on the inside of the valve(s) which keeps it from activating properly. It is a fairly simple fix. The dealer came out and filed the burrs out of the valves yesterday. Works great now. Keep up the good work.

Funny how you gotta go through new stuff just as thoroughly as the used. I talked to a guy who was working for one of my landowners who just bought a ‘22 120hp bobcat skid loader, and the thing had tons of loose bolts.

you mow to stimulate growth and put down biomass..if ya let it go to seed and the seed heads go brown..the grass grows dormant and doesn't grow as vigorously. That's why we mow...now for all those bare spots..the soil in this area lacks carbon...we'll be adding manure to these areas soon which will make it more fertile. This is what the whole farm looked like 3-5 years ago...takes time to do this without chemicals...gotta mow to stimulate growth
