He's been influenced by American JAZZ. Such as Bill Evans. In particular the third etude, he closely emulates Dave Brubeck's jaunty piece, The Duke, Brubeck's tribute To Ellington. Uncannily close in my estimation. I like it!

I don't know about ahead of his time.... these would have been written somewhere between the 80s and 2000s, no? If they were written in 1920 or even 1850, then they would be ahead of their time.
