lol I feel like these people need to know that youth in India are very similar to youth everywhere else. We're not a bunch of prudes or weirdos you know, we party more or less the same way. Alcohol is very common (more so than you think), as are games like spin the bottle, beer pong etc. Our lifestyle is very similar to yours in terms of what we like to do. Now obviously movies like this have some degree of exaggeration: we don't break into synchronised dance routines, unless of course it's a popular song we all know and love and we know the steps to it. Bollywood movies are centred around songs, which will obviously be choreographed and are usually pivotal elements to the story itself. The songs are *obviously* not meant to represent reality. House parties in India are VERY similar to those in the West. That being said, these people should watch this movie. It's a pretty accurate depiction of how Indian youth are nowadays, so maybe they'll be a bit more educated and not be so surprised to find that we are, just like you, a bunch of regular young adults who like to party and drink and have fun.
