I have never understood what the writers did with J'onn in the first half of season one. He didn't want Kara in danger so he pushed her away but he brought Alex into the DEO. But the writers wised up before the end and the relationship between these three is the most beautiful thing in this show.

I don't think he wanted Kara to use her powers to become Supergirl. I think they really found something when they developed the relationship between them all.

Oh my god! This was absolutely incredible. I love how this little family has grown since the show started. In season 1 when Kara hugs J'oon but Alex keeps it professional because he's her boss to season 2 when Alex & J'oon hug and it's beautiful.

I have only just seen this video and it's amazing. I love the show and the relationships in it. But these three are one of the best, for years J'onn thought he was alone and the girls were there for him through everything, they protected each other.
