Just want to reiterate that. This could have been a wankfest. A train wreck. A nuclear arms race where everyone tries to be louder than everyone else. The rhythm section, but also the guitarists; they listened to each other. It made it enjoyable. Not like some jam with Joe Perry, Slash, Joe Banamassa, Paul Schafer, Kenny Wayne shepherd, Kingfish and that Marilyn Monroe and Steve Vai and Neil young, Walter trout and Eddie Van Halen. I’m just being sarcastic; they’re all very good guitarists, but in jams, everyone sneaks up the volume on their guitars and “ forget “ to turn it down after their solo. Kara Grainger has that blues voice. Just wish her guitar volume was amped a little more during her solos which are melodious old school blues. She has been stateside from 2008 and won several awards. Strange to see so little mentions of her in the comments though.
