The reason for that is because they removed the tilt attacks, and the story mode was not great as expected. And no quick time events in boss battles. That's what all the hate was about. I've seen it

Ima resume : armor jutsu, wich allow spammers "like this minato in the video" to only win using rasengan in ranked, add to this the chakra regeneration and i think you get it. + the fact that you cant quit a room if you see wich hero ur opponent is using, + the fact that you cant invite ur friends online to play with you, + no reel online mode except rank or casual matches, + support generation is really too fast, allowing them to always stop you mid fight even if you are punnishing ur opponent who did a stupid moove. + supp hiting you twice even if you use ur subb... et things goes on, and i didnt even talk about the story mode
