I watched your tutorials and have found them very informative. I have not done any paracord work at all and wanted to make a dog lead that was strong enough for my Siberian Husky which I felt confident with. In the last two weeks using your tutorials I have managed to create a few leads and have modified them to include a six strand round lead with a four strand flat handle the I am really happy with the results. I have given my first attempts at the leads to my Son and Sister for their dogs and they are very happy with them. Thankyou so much for taking the time to post these training videos for without them I would not have had a clue.

I enjoy your explanation and how you show the strands going thru all of them. Helps keep it from being has complicated as it could be.

Excellent. I am now 70 years old and I think branding might be easier than knotting, which is beginning to hurt my hands.

A very satisfying make and very well explained as always! From following your channel I've made loads of nice things for my friends and was given the Ashley Book of Knots for my birthday recently, think I'll keep going then! :D

Once mastered it was easy, have not finished it yet, as I restarted once I got the swing to make it more even!!

This is brilliant, so very well explained. I have been looking for a dog lead project and this is it. I shall be attempting this in a few weeks time.

My tension on my leash is so much tighter than yours…is that wrong? Should it be looser?

I want to braid a "Kara Yatsu" dog leash with 275 cord. What would be the ratio per foot of dog leash for that cord?

Hi, could you please be more descriptive in th e pattern? I’m blind and can’t follow the pattern when you say things like “move these strands here” or “move these strands to the side.” Could you use the numbering system of the disc? In this way, you might have strands at 7 and 8, 15 and 16, 23 and 24, and 31 and 32. This would be a starting position with two at each cardinal direction. It would really help me as I try to learn these patterns!

Hi! To make it easier, I have transcribed the instructions for a 32 number disc: Setup: 1 strand in the secondary color in slots 32 and 1. 1 strand in the secondary color in slots 9 and 24. 1 strand in the primary color in slots 16 and 17. 1 strand in the primary color in slots 8 and 25. Braiding sequence: From 32 to 10. From 1 to 23. From 16 to 26. From 17 to 7. From 25 to 17. From 8 to 16. From 24 to 32. From 9 to 1. We now reposition: From 23 to 24. From 26 to 25. From 7 to 8. From 10 to 9. This is one sequence, then we start over, from 32 to 10 and so on. I hope this helps, I double checked that it is correct, you should be good to go. Have a great day, Mark
