TACKLING THE WHALE TAIL// DID I MANAGE TO RIDE IT?

Is today the day I ride the scary whale tail feature...? Twisted Oaks Bikepark have been super busy and made a whole new line! We went there before they opened to test it out and it rode so well! However, at the end of the trail there is a whale tail feature which is pretty big and scary. I got scared last time and decided to come back to it and today was the day that I came back to tackle it!
I rode the trail a few times just to feel it out and then finally decided to go for it! It took everything I had and with a few tips from ‪@TomCardy‬ I finally managed to get onto the feature. I will definitely be back for more!
We also rode a few other trails at Twisted Oaks Bikepark that we haven't manage to ride before. They have drops and berms in them which is perfect for practicing your skills. I also rode the small step up to practice trying to lift up and over something.

Just opinion of someone who knows you only from vids, Tom knows better, but I'd say that when something makes you so nervous that your voice shakes, it's not safe for you to ride. Even if it would be "false alarm" and the thing would be in your skill set, the level of nervousness is mostlikely going to prevent you from being in control.

Ditch the Ebike, it's holding you back. What is itvwith people & Ebikes? If you're young, healthy, just pedal a damn bike. It's not hard & as you've proven, a push bike's far better for any tech stuff & jumps. Great video though. Looks like you had a great day.

Ohh man I worry watching you ride sometimes! For someone who has been doing it for so many years you have barely improved sadly, was exciting watching you start your life into mtb but man it's gone real stagnant lately......
