I customized a set of drumsticks 🥁 for Danny back late 2019 for his 21st bday. 🎶 very cool band - they’re from MI with a kinda Led Zeppelin sound.

Great points! Love this. My daughter was at that concert....she was so excited when the guys came down and she was able to shake their hands!

They did spend a lot of time interacting with the crowd. Josh kept taking people's sunglasses and wearing them, and my daughter made a comment that he was going to get pinkeye. Then he started kissing people on the cheek,so we figured he would end up with pinkeye and herpes. But the crowd loved it!

@@KaraBuntin That's too funny that you guys were thinking about the pink eye, etc.! But yep...that could happen!! Rock stars don't care though, apparently! 😂

As a young teen in Miami, Florida, way back in around 1968, my first concert was to see Donovan. Calmly alone and sitting cross-legged in the center of the stage, Donovan started to play his guitar and open the show by singing Jennifer Juniper but the crowd didn't calm down making it impossible to hear him play. Everyone was so rowdy that he threatened to stop the concert and send everyone home. That night, I learned that respect is giving someone my full attention - and if I'm not respected, it's okay to walk away.

The last concert I went to? Was the English Beat who played at a summer fest concert series. Went with a friend and we drove separately (thank GOD) ...BECAUSE.....after the concert was over and we visited with the band a bit and perused the merch tent, we wandered back to where we had parked our respective cars. My FRIEND...had found HER car sideswiped and rear ended (by a drunk driver or a stolen vehicle) while it was parked on the street. So at least, after spending additional hours with the police and tow truck, we were able to get my friend home. So...the lesson here? Always drive more than one car to an event where there might be waaay too much copious drinking? It could also be that the car which struck my friends car was a stolen vehicle, I have forgotten, so in that case...if the only place to park is on street parking, maybe take an uber? Additionally, this friend has REALLY bad luck when it comes to odd things happening to her vehicles - over many years - so I opted to drive myself. Maybe if you have that sort of friend with awful luck that way, you should too. You decide.

Funny concert story even though I wasn’t an attendee. I work part-time evenings about a half mile from a major outdoor concert venue. Last summer there was a Snoop Dogg concert (you can already tell where this is going). I’m in Utah where cannabis is legal for medical but not recreational use. On this night it didn’t seem to matter. The smoke coming from the area was so thick and heavy it was filtering into the building where we were working (a half mile away), not in any amount to be “effective” but it was very noticeable. And it was hilarious. Snoop isn’t invited back this year for some reason.

Not a concert, but last week I went to standup show with a very funny female English comedian. At the end of the show we got to pick one of two badge options at the exit. The badge had words relating to her show (one was the title). Others ask “what does that mean?” And I’m coming back for her next show and …it reminds me every time I see the badge. Brilliant marketing!

Lots of "gems" in this one! 🥰 I have seen Chris Isaak in concert wearing the mirrored suit. Well said! Recently I saw Big Sugar (Canadian but based in Texas). Sometimes they do these special themed shows. This tour featured their blues album 500 pounds. 😂 Your comments are so applicable for that show - Give your audience what you want and stick to the classics. They played their popular hits for the 2nd half knowing that's what the casual fans want. Too much to say for a KZbin comment about how they did "classic.

Marked safe from concert vomit. With age/experience comes wisdom. I always wear my cowboy boots to concerts - mostly because the heel gives me a couple extra inches in height, but also because it protects my feet from anything nasty on the ground.

The one we reference with that is beavis and butthead where the old Cowboy guy is in cardiac arrest but is on the gurney yelling “Don’t skimp on the gravy.” I wouldn’t be surprised if they got it from somewhere else!

O went to a concert once that the band concertfied the songs so much that I didn't know the songs until halfway through. I get that it's boring to play the same songs over and over and I don't mind a few jams... But to not recognize the songs? I lost a bit of respect. I want to hear what I want to hear in the way that I know it. Keep the classics. Also, live GVF. Though I feel like they are Led Zeppelin lite.
