Hey Jeremy! So sorry for the late reply. I've been Instagramming and have been neglecting my KZbin channel. When i saw your comment, I went to the music to look for the Piu mosso haha! I had not seen it, but naturally this part of the music calls for extra passion. I just don't think I did a piu mosso until about 2:09, just a little. That's where it felt right to me. I totally know I'm not exact with every marking, so I'm always glad to have them pointed out! Thanks for the comment!

Was so glad when I got to internet and people emphasized this song, and I came to appreciate it more. Here, how you handle it, makes it feel so alive: like maybe some person running along, or rushing a moment, then noticing something, stopping, maybe one person standing, been waiting, and the person who was rushing suddenly looks in the eye of the person waiting; both with only silence, stopped, and taking in the view.

One of 8's best along with roses and wine and the world map (blue skies) but fishermans horizon hit me at 15 first arriving there first time hit my consciousness and overwhelmed me whereas balamb town and roses and wine just sunk into me for just the slow classical light songs.

Final Fantasy VIII was the first Final Fantasy i've played. And the one that showed me how beautiful the serie was back then. From the characters, their stories and the beautiful music of Nobuo Uematsu. In particular this theme, is one of those i came back to, when i want to relax my mind. Brings back memories of my childhood and is so peaceful! Thanks for the video Kara! Keep up the great work!

The way you play... I can tell you love playing. It's so amazing that you can play this. It's so amazing that you can love it like you do and make it so obvious that you do - I love the way you just look like you love playing it. Sometimes, I guess, words can't always describe the way we feel... and that's also how I feel about this song. Fisherman's Horizon is like a beacon of my youth, the nostalgia that I can never forget. Final Fantasy VIII had a number of themes that stood out to me when I first played it in 1998 (or was it 1999?). This one and the Waltz (Waltz for the Moon? I think it was called.) stood out to me above all. Since then there's been many I've loved, especially from this game, but Fisherman's Horizon holds a special place in my heart. I never see people covering this song anymore. So glad to see you've covered it, and done such a beautiful job, too! Actually you've picked a whole slew of great songs to cover, many are a little out of the ordinary for most youtubers. Love your taste in music!

This theme stood out to me too. To me, it felt like the chaos of the world that the party had to deal with was out of mind when they got to Fisherman's Horizon, which was calm and beautiful. It was just the protagonist and his new friends, and it felt like a vacation when you got there. My memory might be fuzzy though. I haven't played FF8 to that point in the game in about 20 years. That's what I remember right now and what I feel when I hear the song.

I will play this song with my son in some nights before he goes to bed so he can enjoy it with me. I like the music so much and it goes hand-in-hand with our interests. We love to see the ocean, the boats passing by, and the fishermen, particularly, during sunset. I think this music will ignite his imagination and let him have an artistic mind. This is my favorite track from Final Fantasy 8 and how I heard of your channel. I love transposing it and listening to it in different keys. I can't play it myself, I just use a website to transpose and a virtual piano with my somewhat perfect pitch to see if it's in tune. I could learn it at some point, though. I only play piano casually at this point, but I took piano lessons as a child and teenager and also took several music theory and ear training classes in college, so I could hold my own with sheet music and I try to play new songs from time to time. Anyways, I love how you have done multiple tracks from Final Fantasy 8. It's one of my favorites in the series, and I hope you do more. Any game or classical music piano video is one I personally would love, though. I have already watched multiple videos of yours to calm me down and help me sleep and they have worked wonderfully. You do a great performance and I am inspired by your passion about your music as seen when you are playing. It looks as if you are entranced by your own playing and are drawing energy from it while your soul is deeply reflecting on it. You look very connected to your music as if the piano is playing you sometimes and as if it is reviving you and bringing your inner soul to some higher form of living that made you realize and feel like you were dead before. Thanks for reading if you got this far, and I have enjoyed "speaking" to another musician. I have subscribed and look forward to hearing you play more.

Yeah, I'll definitely look into getting a sheet music book that fits my purposes and the original soundtrack once I get some money lol. If you find the name of it, you can let me know if you want. I feel like my musical knowledge exceeds my skill, and that I could read anything or learn to read pretty much anything without too much effort, but would take too long to actually learn to play more advanced songs at this point like on the level that you play. I feel like my playing ability is somewhere in the intermediate range, so what you're describing sounds like it would be good.
