This should have a million views ☺️ Grant Kirkhope wrote all these compositions and he’s very active on social media, especially twitter, and posts about BK practically every day. A little before Christmas, he played Freezeezy Peak on a kazoo and keyboard. If somehow he doesn’t know about this video, that should promptly be remedied because he would fundamentally, completely, and utterly adore it. So I need to try and send it to him. 😊

We truly were fortunate, those us that grew up with the music to these games. Rich melodies, interesting chord progression, sometimes even complex time signatures. But in games about apes and bears collecting stuff. The arrangements are so on point in this and the playing is so clean and accurate. New, big fan.

technical advancement and the enormous amount of cash that was poured into the videogame-industry made me belief that soundtracks nowadays would be so much better than they were 20, 25 years ago, it happens but most of it is just bland and forgetable. If I hear tracks from the SNES/n64/ps1 era I instantly know the region it took place in (if I played the game), can't say that for many modern games.

haha sometimes I improvise, most of my collections have a lot of improv, like my FF6, and Chrono cross. The Banjo Kazooie sheets were super dense and nice, not a lot of room for mixing it up 😂

Oh, so you're playing Banjo-Kazooie for the first time? I remember playing it as a kid back in the day, but never understood how to advance or anything. I just enjoyed the colors and the funny world it all happened in. Now, I'm actually playing it for real and decided to finish it. So far it's been a blast. Trust me. You'll love it even more. This was a fun treat to listen to, i played this game so much in my childhood that just listening to it brings back gameplay in my head, i still have my original game cart. I should fire it up. Thank you. Years ago i found the original soundtrack at thrist store, i got it and mailed it to my dad who used to listen to it on long road trip to stay away on long drives 😂

That skrunkly little Gruntilda plushie is honestly such a mood. I love it and I want it 💚 Seriously tho, that is some genuinely awesome playing and music transcription. The transition from the title theme to Spiral Mountain was smooth as honey, and I ended up playing a mental game of “Oh What Are We Gonna Transition to Next?” somewhere in either Mumbo’s Mountain or Bubblegloop Swamp. So much joy and nostalgia elicited from me, definitely going to check out your _DKC1_ medley now 😁

It's so happy seeing someone having the TIME OF HER LIFE playing Banjo-Kazooie music. Rare was a rare one. (I see the thanks of Grant Kirkhope!). Liked Spiral Mountain, Gobi valley, Rusty Bucket Bay best. And once one starts one of your Complete ST or Mega medleys, you just gotta listen to the whole thing! You just have to.

These kinds of performances really stand out when you can tell the musician has a genuine passion for the game, it really shines through in the performance. We immersed ourselves in these virtual worlds and the soundtracks were a huge part of the experience. Good work!

I'm not too familiar with Banjo-Kazooie. However, there are some very tough pieces in here, with a lot of chromatic runs, and you played them so well! These are also mostly just very nice, fun, bouncy tunes to listen to that are great for some happy background music. I'm sure they were fun to play, but maybe also frustratingly difficult at parts.

Your play style is so lovely! It is so pure to feel, hear and see how you transfer the power of your musical mind and soul into your hands to make that massive musical machine sound accordingly. You have a unique ability or so, that drives you to create jumpy sounds - it is so very cool! It sounds so playful! I do love it, so very much - like that! While watching and listening to your true powerful/sensible/playful tones, I developed so many tears in my eyes. If you were to do a concert with these music sheets along with such a massive musical machine somewhere, I would like to get there, where ever it may be at, and pay any price and wear my best noble outfit I can try to find relatively suitable. Oh my god, Tooty! Oh my god! I must find out more about you and your activities. I try to discover if Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie audio of yours, may be digitally purchased somehow. Now I am thinking about giving me another chance to try learning to play piano myself eventually in the future - I think the most relevant factor is willpower, relatively. From it, naturally comes the impulse of energy. But I have one small problem with one finger of one hand of mine. That always kept me thinking I may be incapable of truly playing a piano to the full extent deserving a player's music excellence. Eventually, I go to a music school and just show them my hands first, in order to clarify if/how I may have issues playing piano - I seriously wish to know that, once and for all. I would wish to not exclusively keep resorting to the computed generation of music forever just. As I did music which had to be based purely of off digital craft, so retrospectively talking. Besides diverting attention to me, ha forget it - please by happy when you can be Tooty sometimes! Certain moments are so pure and powerful. I wish you the best and much continued happiness!
