Links Awakening holds a special place in my heart. I used to play on the playground pretending I was Link (who we called Zelda back then). In the game, you have to collect 7 different instruments and synchronize them to play the "Ballad of the Windfish"... yet you somehow managed to do with just 1. Where were you in 1995??

Which one of these did you enjoy playing the most? I think my favorite music from The Legend of Zelda will always be the Main Theme. It amazes me watching you play while reading the sheet music. While playing guitar, I'm lucky to be able to sing, much less read something. It also fascinates me how animated and expressive you become during your playing, almost like you are dancing at times or feeling the emotion of the music. It's beautiful!

As fine as the N64 one was, I like the original better. The GameCube Star Foxes were good but not great. I never played the WiiU one, but I heard it was poorly received.

When I was a child, I started making a cassette tape of Final Fantasy VI music. I didn't get far into it before I decided it was stupid, I could just play the game if I want to hear the tunes. I guess it wasn't a stupid idea, people put serious money into those things. In a way, what I have is even better, both lovely compositions and demonstrations of skill. One time, when I was going to college, I won this mp3 player and I had a pair of good headphones that could function as portable speakers if you turned the volume up. I was working with a couple classmates on some group work, and I asked them if they wanted to hear the greatest and best song in the world. "You mean the Jack Black thing, right?" "Maybe, maybe not." "Well, what's it about?" "It's about two men, and they embark upon a spiritual journey." "Okay, so it must be the Jack Black thing."
