That's very telling to me because Dr. B seems to think that she was drawn to Dana because they were on similar levels regarding their personalities. Yet, Dana tries to make it seem like she was drawn to the friendship because their personalities were kind of opposite to each other and allowed them to mix well together. She very skillfully made to "dim" Dr. B's light in that moment by giving herself a more appealing description while giving her best friend a very general description. I also thought that was some b******* for her to say that she doesn't have to explain herself to anybody as well. Because if you feel that way Dana, then why do you feel Dr. B owes you an explanation for her distancing herself. It seems to me that Dana is not only jealous of but also intimidated by Dr.B for being on the same level as her in life and not willing to admit it. I think she surrounds herself with people who she feels aren't as successful as her so she can feel admired. And with Dr. B, she cant shake the fact that her friend is just as admired in her line of work. Shes not used to it. Karamo asked them if they felt like they were in a competition with one another but its Dana who is in the one sided competition with Dr B. Because you can tell Dr. B genuinely wants to be there and enjoy Dana's successes. But Dana doesnt really care to be a part of her successes. I might even go so far to say that Dana is probably like that with all her female friends and generally does not truly enjoy being a part of anything where she can't be center of attention. Which would explain why she felt no remorse for missing her so called best friends birthday and house warming. She knew she wasnt going to be able to "steal the show." She literally said "I dont cater to women " and her best friend is being placed in the same category as any woman in her life. What Dr.B was asking for was not beyond what is typical of a best friend relationship. Dana knows this but she literally is PROJECTING her true feelings on to Dr. B! 1. Insinuating jealousy on Dr. B's behalf when shes jealous 2. Saying she doesnt cater to women when she in fact wants people to cater to her. 3. Calling Dr. B spoiled when she is the one who is spoiled and self centered Dana doesnt really see this friendship as a best friendship because she doesn't even know how to be a genuine friend. I think she felt obligated to start the friendship because their significant others are friends and has been trying to find subtle ways to push Dr. B away so she doesnt have to deal with being fake with her anymore. And shes trying to control the narrative as to why their friendship didnt work out by calling her spoiled and jealous. The saddest part of it all is that Dana might truly think Dr B is jealous of her because thata what a classic narcissist will do. Those delusions of grandeur will have a narcissist thinking and projecting some bogus ass stuff. Lol. I think Dr. B knows this friendship is over because she knows Dana isnt going to change but was willing to put on a good face for the show. I hope she does part ways with Dana because her energy just oozes negative and toxic.

10:05 Big mistake on Karamo's side. He was interrupting VERY IMPORTANT message and skipped it just a second after as he was busy with expressing his thought. Dana does not feel empty. She is unhappy that her friend is no longer available in a way that she used to. It was a projection on his part. IMO the problem is not lack of healthy communication etc. but serious character flaw on Dana's part. She constatntly creates the toxiness. She calls her "friend" names and suggest that only her friend needs to change. Dana is intimidated with Bonita.. Bonita has a sweet spirit, and Dana is accustomed to being the leader amongst women that she's friends with. Bonita is supportive of Dana. Even in the photo, Dana has her back to Bonita and Dana's not a compromiser. I really feel that this friendship has run its course only because the older we get we are stuck in our ways and our tolerance for behaviors change. We make moves based on the actions and character we see in each other. When you are young the term friend don't hold as much weight but when you get older you are looking for mutual loyalty and respect. I should never have to beg to be acknowledged in a friendship, I would go silent real quick.
