This is such a needed segment. Thank you for opening the door to healthy co-parenting. My husband and I separated when I first got pregnant as teens, the first year was emotional and we could not stand each other. Once we made a deal to remove that and focus on our daughter we became friends. Supported each other when the other was not available to parent without any fuss. Only difference we also fell back in love when she turned 4 and got back together. Now married but I always believe us separating and becoming individual adults and friends built something different.

He acts like a child, and just can't comprehend how to put our child's needs before himself. If I would agree to reconcile tho, he'd be all for trying to do better which truly pisses me off. I’m 33 and my parents got divorced when I was 3. I was a full grown adult the first time I ever saw them argue. They decided to put me first and I know I’m the child of divorced parents but I have never felt like I was so I really appreciate this segment as a kid that grew up in an ideal situation with parents that weren’t together. It can be done!
