I had the same encounter on my last ship (VLCC) we were on anchor for 5 days and due to the weather our anchor was not holding. In 5 days we had more than 10 anchor stations 😂😂.

Next upcoming tanks will be Hydrogen as well. Its the most trending energy source currently. As a researcher we are working currently on the infrastructure development for cross border hydrogen dispatch. We clearly recognise the potential role of Maritime transport here. Not only that but also to cut the conventional fuel with renewable blased green or blue hydrogen derivative for ships. This will definitely require the safety and repurposing of the existing technologies in the ships. Eventually, I guess officers are required to have safety training related to that.
