I wish this track was one of the popular tunes! It was such fun to make, albeit very time consuming. It's an extremely "full" orchestration, with dozens of notes per bar, and took me far longer than I expected! :)
If you use this, please post your recording as a video response! My authentic orchestral instrumental karaoke (no voice) rendition of "At the End of the Day" from Les Miserables. I am a composer and producer who creates music for film and television. I enjoy producing the most realistic sounding renditions of orchestral music. This version of "At the End of the Day" is incredibly authentic and has an absolutely realistic orchestral sound. Broadway / recording quality.
This is the point at which Fantine's luck (already suffering) runs out. The viciousness of poverty drives the women to turn against her; to be the proverbial "Tigers" who tear her life apart. Her crime was falling in love with a man who left her, and her daughter Cosette to fend for themselves. Mixed with this, is a frustrated foreman who turns on Fantine because she repels his advances. And finally, the tragedy of a little oversight from Valjean, who doesn't recognize the situation being as bad as it is (asking the ladies to "settle down", and he turns away as Fantine is subsequently thrown out.

Does anyone know how the second choral part's lyrics go? I don't think it runs the same way as the main lyrics because there aren't enough notes, but I can never hear it in the production tracks
