The third event of the season features "the Karate G.O.A.T.", as 2020 Olympics silver medalist Rafael Aghayev returns to Karate Combat on a mission to add a pro-fighting world title to his list of honors.
Opponent and Special Forces operator Zsolt ‘the Soldier’ Habda steps up to face the most decorated karate competitor in history.
In supporting bouts, Bruno Assis takes on last year's Male Fighter of the Season Vitalie Certan.
Two bantamweight battles open Karate Combat: Season 4 - Event 3 as tough Dagestani Myrza-Bek Tebuev returns from a long injury layoff to face Peruvian power-puncher Jesus Lopez.
The other bantamweight brawl will see Mexican-American Damian Villa, a world champion in taekwondo, becomes the leagues’ first TKD-stylist competitor when he faces Brazilian national karate team member Gabriel Stankunas.

@ Evan Cawly I agree that he's old & past his prime, but he's still got power & that jab was pretty accurate in the third. If he starts throwing it in round one he might be able to land his overhand more often. And karate combat fighters aren't really known for clean defense. Maybe he'll get lucky lol.

I get it man. It's great to see traditional karate at full contact again. Especially now that sport karate has been so watered down, where weak hook kicks get the most points these days. It's great to see a place where the techniques have to be real and practical or you lose. This is why it is great for karate. I get if some don't like the theatrics but I think it's funny. Glad they are having a good time with it.

Rafael is a true martial artist, i loved to see his "fairplay", the determination to keep fighting with a busted eye, also his opponent is a great fighter! Still gotta see the last round! Already greatful for the event (also love that it goes free on youtube, cause I'm a Brazilian and can't afford to pay for pay-per-view).
