What a fantastic video! I haven't practiced for years (due to my job and no contact sports) but am looking at reviving some the skills and thinking. This was succinct and very informative for not only beginners but us old hats too... As my Kancho used to teach the Zen story of, "empty your cup."

What I do when I was on karate (I am now doing it again, I am white band) Our headstand was from iron and it was look a human, what I did was I hit the iron pipes with blocks and punches pretending it was a human, 1 year later we bought a wooden one, even better than the iron one, and that is how I learned blocking/Punching.
