The choreography of Yuen Woo Ping is really THE BEST! I have seen too much Kung Fu and he always bring us something new. If you haven't see please see Tai Chi Master by Jet Li. Fantasric choreo plus how Donnie use them. My favorite action choeroegrapher. No one can match his ability to do it. NO ONE!

IP man's attacks were focused on the ribs and the head, and that's why the woman was able to make a few moves at first, but she is still a woman, her body can't handle that much hits. And t he previous masters are just following their basic moves.

She needed a bit more sensitivity of Wing Chun or Baguazhang and would've been on Ip Man's level. Durability-wise, she would've used narrower blocks like Wing Chun and more pivots of the body as she gets hit in order to mitigate the damage then she would've been just fine.
