I played it on PS Now and while the premise and game itself is enjoyable PS Now began to lag after i had fought the first guard who requires double block. Despite this the game was so simple and fum and due to my fighting game experience it was an easy but enjoyable game.

After the palace gates the musical cues seemed to disappear, or shift to things I couldn’t pick up on. Are they still there? it’s been years since I last played.

Yes, I think so, too. At some point the musical cues start to be less acurate or even disappear. You have to play by remembering the moves then.

I don't know if you can say completely untouched, technically they are still punching and kicking you. You just aren't taking any damage because of blocking.

That's not my idea to name it that way though. The game has a trophy called "Way of the Karateka". It says in the description: Challenged Akuma, untouched by his minions. So the "untouched" thing (meaning no damage) is coming from the makers of the game and not from me actually. I just use it because maybe some players search for "untouched" according to the description of the trophy.

After I decided to go for a no damage run? Hmm... certainly a few streams meaning about 10-12 hours maybe.

@kiddhkane Thanks. And good luck to you. You can do it. And maybe you will by chance get the full no damage run anyway. Since the final boss, Akuma, uses all the techniques of the other opponents you've fought before. So if you get the achievement, the final step to the full no damage run isn't as big as one might think.
