I really love the results of the Rotoscope Technique in Videogames... it is 🎨🖼 Art. Thank You for sharing these very interesting pieces of History (of Videogames...). They should be in a Museum 🎮💯👏🏻

Thanks! They are :) The Making of Karateka recently released by Digital Eclipse is like an interactive museum exhibit, while the originals are at the Strong Museum of Play in New York.

Hi Jordan! I’ve grown up alongside your games and their aesthetics, and am proud to have seen so much development in the gaming industry (for better or worse.) That said-do you anticipate using AI in any capacity for future projects? Perhaps some enhanced editions of original content? (as I dream of a more surreal version of Karateka)

I first saw Karateka through the Nintendo Game Boy, and from the get go I knew the character movements are way different from those in other games--I mean, so fluid! Now I know why!

This is still one of my all time favorite games hands down! A one of a kind experience that has never been replicated. Thank you Jordan, I never thought I'd get to see the day that I'd be able to actually say that to you for Karateka. I could go on and on about your absolute masterpiece. So much to say. Truly thank you. I just learned about the remake and hunted down info as fast as I could. (I'm curious to hear how you pronounce it so we will finally know once and for all lol)
