Love mine. Perfect after a couple of indoor builds and worked perfectly getting everything up including brick/plaster dust (which was everywhere) and small rubble that top-brand domestic vacuum filters can’t handle. Very powerful. Yes loud, but worth it. I put the bag in the hoover tank over two little yellow posts first before fitting the motor/lid back. Love it so much am keeping it indoors although my husband wanted it in the workshop. Bought the extra tool kit too. Realised just holding the hose and directing it by hand is so much easier to manage than our other “stick type” cordless handle. No more achy hands. The round brush attachment is so useful and I got the ceiling and walls dust free using it. Awesome. May have to buy two.

Great to hear your feedback on the Karcher. We also continue to use ours on a daily basis. We have an RV project that we are doing every day (KZbin: Vintage RV Adventures) and it is used every day to vac up sawdust and general rubbish they we generate in there. We would not be without ours now.

hi, when cleaning brick dust do you use a separte bag just for that or you just use the bag for everything including brick dust until it fills up ? thanks, I was considering de wd3 but I think is a bit bulky for a home/garage

If you read the Kärcher marketing material I believe it says that the main use for this product is for outside the home, the garage and the car which is what I bought mine for. Personally I wouldn’t use it as an inside the home vacuum cleaner but that’s just me. I’ve used mine only once since I bought it a few weeks ago to vacuum up the garage floor and also in the car and it did a great job.

The bag can be fitted directly into the bucket, onto those two pins and the middle pier and after I put down the top. In this case the bag doesn’t fall down when full and heavy

No, not at all. The carpets still feel damp to be fair.

Yes you can, just leave the wet filter in place, use as a dry vac.

Just used this outside and the bag is a pain to empty! Are there any easier ones and do you really need it as the filter takes a lot of space in the cavity with them both in there.

The filter is like a paper filter, of the type used in cars air filters.

I have a Question . My parents have one.. it doesn't seem to sick properly, I noticed air leaking between the lid and the base.. I noticed there's no gasket around the edge to seal the top and base. Is there meant to be a gasget or seal there? If there no gasket needed and its lid is on correctly, why is it not sucking properly? Thanks for your help?

Thanks for the feedback both. When picked up the top half does lift slightly. There is no O-ring or other seal, it could benefit from one.

bag flap and holes are aimed to place the bag firstly on the container. It's not shown on the instructions

Given you purchased the WD 2 for the garage workshop and cleaning your car, I noticed there was no attachment to clean the car carpet.

This is true David. We mainly use it for our RV rebuild project, where we have a lot of wood being cut up creating mess and sawdust etc. When we use it in the car we use the end of the pipe. Agreed though, a small attachment would be beneficial.

They are quite tight. It is best to put your fingers close to the tube when pressing on the cardboard. Work your fingers round the hole, pressing evenly.

I have just measured the outside diameter of the end of the inner push fit tube, which appears to be around 32 or 33mm. I hope that helps.

Fitting the bag was not very intuitive nor the instructions are any good. Thanks to your video was able to fit it quickly. Cheers. (Will modify the bag so I don't need to change it and mains cable is far too short, needs extending,)

Начну с гарантии : если вы купили оригинальный пылесос в одной стране , то в другой стране компания Karcher считает не обязательным выполнять свои гарантийные обязательства. Забавно ? То есть мне сын из Москвы подарил Karcher WD2 , через год сгорел мотор и в Беларуси гарантийный случай не признается. То бишь сама фирма Karcher не уважает ни себя, ни покупателя. ни свои гарантийные обязательства. Но забудем об этом, вернемся к самому пылесосу. Единственный плюс в пылесосе- его ремонтнопригодность. 4 винта и мотор у вас в руках. О моторе? 1400 ватт, судя по названию на наклейке китаец, тепловой защиты нет, зато раздельные потоки самой турбины и обдува двигателя, что и позволяет кульбиты с уборкой влаги. По виду двигатель добротный....но сгорел через год периодического использования. Дальше одни минусы. Сказать без мата что его придумали с пьяну- не сказать ничего !!! Штатный мешок значительно меньше по размеру чем требовалось, при заполнении меньше чем на половину провисает в нижнем ведре и прогибает картонную пластину крепления ну и естественно соскальзывает с трубки верхней части где стоит двигатель. Пыль дальше летит по прямой через турбину в помещение. кроме того мешок очень маленький и при этом значительная его часть заклеена инструкцией по пользованию мешком !!! БЛЯДЬ ИНСТРУКЦИЕЙ !!! Что естественно уменьшает и так маленькую площадь фильтрации. Зачастую мешок вообще разрывает и все содержимое вылетает в помещение. кстати судя по интернету такое происходит часто. И это у меня произошло при уборке мелкой пыли. Ну то что гофрофильтр в комплект не входит уже говорили. Там натянут для смеха поролоновый мешок который никакой фильтрации выполнить не может разве не даст попасть камешку в турбину. Провод мало того что крайне короткий так еще и покрыт жестким дубовым пластиком. Вороток шланга на корпусе постоянно заклинивает и шланг перекручивается. Удлинительные трубки для уборки гнутся как пьяные. Штатный щелевик для уборки не пригоден ни для уборки ковра, ни для уборки ровного пола. Я использовал трубку и щетку от бытового самсунга. Кстати на бытовом самсунге и шнур в полтора раза длиннее и всасывание такое же как и на Karcher . Забавно ? В официальном сервисном центре мотор к нему стоит 60 процентов от стоимости самого пылесоса. Правда так и не сказали внятно сколько на него гарантия и при каких условиях. Если еще придется заплатить за то что бы они сами закрутили те 4 винта и дали гарантию на мотор - то нахер он мне нужен Короче Karcher WD2 - полное говнище !!! НУ и на последок : при беглом осмотре Karcher WD3 - это тот же Karcher WD2. , только большинство перечисленных косяков в нем исправлено. Правда там мотор тот же что и на Karcher WD2. Ну наверняка там есть свои косяки (я уверен в таланте инженеров Karcher ) , но уже мешок на все ведро и шнур подлиннее. Правда трубки и уборочная щетка все та же. В Karcher WD2 все рассчитано на безостановочную покупку мешков ну и покупку нормальных щеток и щелевиков . Мой практический опыт : Karcher WD2 - полное говнище !!!

I have to say it's amazing how different my opinion of this product is compared to this lad. To me it was absolute rubbish when I used it. The whole thing feels and looks cheap and not good value. I bought it because my car windscreen leaked in water after it rained none stop for a few days so I needed the water gone. We are not talking major water here it was just enough to soak the carpets and I was trying to prevent mould taking hold. The clips where the body parts meet are flimsy and it feels like it could fall apart any moment. After a few minutes use each time I lifted the hose it spit out water from a vent at the back right above where you store the accessories. The makers obviously knew this would happen as they have 2 holes on the accessories tray to let the water escape. After a few minutes of use the machine appears to drown itself and you feel you need to rescue it by emptying the water it sucked out of the carpet. The plug lead is pretty short you would think they could give you a few more meters a little extra cable is not expensive. It was so short I could not reach the offside of my car and I have a plug socket in my driveway.. it's ridiculous. To be honest its not worth the money and If I could be bothered I should go get my money back from the shop. I am delighted this lad found the machine so good but I for one did not and I don't recommend it.
