Lemkos are Carpatho-Rusyn ethnic group??? Ahahaha lol how can it be like that even? Lemkos are lemkos. They lived in Lemkowschyna and are ukrainians same as Boykos, Rusyns or Hutsuls. Lemkos were a big part of Ukrainian nationalist movement during WWII and were killed and deported by Poland in 1945-47 from their motherland - Lemkowschyna.

Are you Lemko ? Are you Polish ? I don’t think so …also a country is just a political system for a territory …it does not influence any culture or ethnicity…this is simply a part of Slavic culture

@@ariiski4501, My Lemko friend who grew up in Poland in the 1970s and 80s told me that growing up he didn’t dare speak Lemko on the street. In fact, her mother would immediately switch to Polish as soon as they would leave the house. But things have changed now!

@@ariiski4501 Just a Poles and Slovaks are not "simply" part of a Slavic culture, so Lemkos aren't. Do not trivialise Lemkos. They are of the Ukrainian nation. Lumping people into just Slavic often plays into the russian narrative.
