Kardinal is not rapping much anymore. He is no longer on An american label. When he was on akon's label in 2008 his album didnt sell much. Plus he Doesn't talk much about materialism or violence so i guess he wasnt liked that much by the American market. I think if he debuted to An American audience in the eay 2000's it would've been different.

It did big time in Canada. It should have crossed over though imo but I don’t think American stations gave it a chance. I remember watching this video every day on rap city/much music. Same with “She look like a movie star, like a chocolate candy bar” movie star by Rascalz. Both catchy hit songs that should have crossed over and would have been hits in the states.
