Story 1: Man, how do people not get physical here? That Karen was just beyond stupid here... and i feel bad for the dogs here for having to be around that Karen all the time. I swear, it should be illegal for some people to be allowed out in public. Story 2: No way is the OP a jerk here. She 100% did the right thing by both defending the husband and putting her brother in his place here. If the brother wants to be bitter and angry, then that is all on him and no one else. The brother is just an annoying jerk and unnecessary bragger.... screw him. Story 3: Yeah, Dave should've 100% called security or police here... those people were tresspassing, plain and simple, and then causing chaos and getting the pool shut down. If he had, then all of this could've been avoided. Dave wasn't a jerk, but he really dropped the ball here. Too bad those people weren't caught though. Story 4: Well, the OP got permission here.... so i dont see what the problem is. Jack just has a bad case of sour grapes and sounds like one of those people that just likes to harass people with electric cars. Also, how nuts is Jack for demaning a $5000 gas card, whining to the HR about being "oppressed" and then threatening to sue. This guy is a complete moron and hopefully he quits soon. He sounds like an awful person to be around. Story 5: OP is not a jerk at all here. If the rest of the family dont want to stay at the AirBNB and get their own hotel rooms... then fine, thats totally up to them, but then don't be surprised when you arent able to use their AirBNB for any meals. They are the ones being unreasonable and greedy here, not the OP. Story 6: Again, it should be illegal for certain people to go out in public. The simple mistake here by the Karen should've just been a simple fix, not to flip out like this. The OP did a good thing by explaining how the tips worked on the machine, since many of them are different and some can be complex. Also, i absolutely hate it when customers use the "I pay your salary" line. LIke, no Karen, my boss down, not you. Hopefully this Karen was banned. People like this are why some places put up (gag) signs that say; "If you are grouchy irritatible or just plain mean, there will be a $10 charge for putting up with you."

Story 6: I can understand the tip problem, recently a restaurant in another province (yes I'm Canadian) went viral for taking the no tip button off and people were mad. Even before this when I work at a football stadium for the CFL(Canadian Football League) if someone is having problems with the card reader I help out. And if they ask "How do I not leave a tip?" I help out and explain how to do it or do it for them, because I know times are tough and money is tight; example my cousin is a season ticket holder for the team but couldn't afford them this year due to her lifestyle, and I don't feel comfortable taking money from money how don't want to be over charged for food and beverage. There sometimes we make mistakes but it not always on the server, sometimes it's the customer or kitchen that make the mistake.

Story 2: The OP did the right thing. The classist brother had it coming; he can dish it out, but he can’t take it; he who lives in a glass house shouldn’t throw stones.
