One of the things I really admired about Karen Carpenter was that there were no showy mannerisms on stage - just pure music making with a gorgeous voice and total sincerity. She will live on forever - no doubt about that.

God has definitely got good plans for the human race and there is never anything in life that is hopeless.Thank God 🙏! So tonight I was surprised and happy also because I happen to really enjoy Karen's voice and music 🎶and am a fan of their talents .I just saw it was your channel and recognized it. I played piano and was active in vocal music until I graduated. Later I just sang to my babies and in our Folk Group that sang Mass one Sunday a month. My youngest daughter had a fantastic voice and went All State her sr year , competed all over the state, show choir, ensembles you name it. She is much better than j ever dreamed. My son served 4 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and struggled with PTSD and he even asked me to sing to him over the phone at a very stressful point. What a beautiful video, Steve. Thank you so much, and I was there via the Carpenter 2017 Tour back in March. I flew in on her birthday, March 2nd, and then we toured on the 3rd and 4th, and we were there on that Saturday, the 4th. And you're right, when we got there we could hardly believe the amount of beautiful flowers and Mickey and Minnie Mouse's and angels and cards and pictures and fan letters and on and on and on, with so many who love her still stopping by and visiting her gravesite. Her birthday was March 2nd, so some were wishing her a Happy Birthday as well, but I have seen though through other videos from other fans that it doesn't seem to matter what day you go, there's going to be a lot of flowers and gifts to the one who gave us all such a beautiful gift, herself. We love you, Karen, and thank you so much, Steve. Watching your video made me cry. I still miss her so much. I think I'll go put a record on now. Blessings to you, Steve. And it truly is a beautiful video of the area. It's one of most beautiful cemeteries I've ever seen, just beautiful, and the family Mausoleum is up on a hill. Also, interesting enough, Harry Nilsson was one of her favorite singers and now they are both laid to rest so close in proximity to each other. Maybe they're singing some duets now where they are.
