Last story, guy wasn't cheating. He and his wife were divorcing. He was seeing someone and so was she. Id have been just as worried to see if the wives kid was his as well. Just an unusual chain of events and nothing more.

They did not have feelings for each other at that time. Believe it or not. I am with the op here and that the child she has may not actually be his and the husband should get a DNA test for both. If they decided to get a divorce because of this, and accusations of cheating were brought up, the judge would more than likely say the either both were cheating or no one was cheating.

something similar to the first story happened to me about 15 years ago. I was collecting transformers and finally found the figure i had been searching months for and didn't want to pay the insane scalper prices, it was the last one on the shelf as well. I was walking away with my figure and then I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around. a woman with all of the karen style points was standing there with her son. she said "great, you found the toy for my son, hand it over so we can get going". I told her that i got there first, its the one that ive been trying to find for months so its coming home with me. she said "no, that's for my son, he gets what he wants and he wants that", I said "cant always get what you want, sorry but It's mine" she tried to grab it from my hands, while calling me every name in the book and then finally scratching her talons across my arm leaving red lines. I was yelling some unpleasant words at her at this point and eventually a couple employees that were watching this (it was around a couple min at this point) came over and got in between us and told her to move calm down and stop it but she lunged at me again saying i stole the toy from her son but they had witnessed the entire incident and knew the story. they had security come and they ended up dragging her away as she yelled that she hoped that i got cancer and died. i yelled back, "at least I got my action figure, you F'ing B!+c# !! I really should have had them call the cops and had her charged but it all happened so fast and i was really just in shock that some crazy woman would do something like that over a toy.

WTH. Why so judgmental? Some people actually LIKE large families. They were divorcing and he was seriously dating another woman. He said he had every intention of taking care of is kids. As far as the story goes, there was no overlap between when he got his ex pregnant and when he got back with his wife. His only issue is that his wife is pissed for something he did when they were divorcing. Hell, my initial question was if the kid with his wife is actually his. She said she'd been dating someone too, but no timeline was established.

The guy was divorcing meaning that they will end their relationship. It's not even cheating. So the guy got her pregnant by then and a few months later he got together with his wife who also dated someone else during the divorce. So basically, OP isn't at fault and his wife probably has pregnancy hormones that make her think unreasonably. The narrator always sided with the female part... I mean one time he said that the op should choose his girlfriend over his cat. The girlfriend in the story makes him choose between her or his cat which is a big red flag.

Exactly my thoughts. I was so baffled. They had already started the procedures for a divorce, which meant their marriage was over at that point. I tend to agree with the narrator most of the time, but sometimes things like this come up out of left field. Sheesh Edit: plus, the OP didn't only say that he will take care of the child if the child is his, no matter what. He even said that he was over the moon when he found out his wife was pregnant again. That's proof that they like big families. Why on earth would he take measures to make sure he won't get someone pregnant when he actually has nothing against having another child?

I agree in this post. The narrator always tends to lead to some absurd thought with relationships or families. He has criticized people who are polyamorous or in open relationships saying it's the basis of cheating when I have known many couples both straight and gay that do these and are successful. Back to the story at hand, there is no timeline with the wife and the OP being together when OP and Sarah were together. So whybare you saying that the wife should be upset at him? They were in the process of divorce at the time. When that happens, their love for one another is not there. So you can't say your comment. Besides, there are people who want large families. Narrator reqlly needs to consider things better as he's really being polarizing in his choices.

To the guy with the baby, my husband also did the same thing, but we were separated for only 2 weeks. His excuse was he needed to get over me. And we actually didn’t find out it was his until the other guys dna came back that it wasn’t his. It was hard on me, it’s still hard on me. It was only two weeks and he moved on that quick. But we worked through. She has to let the past be in the past and if she loves you, she will let it go, but be hurt.

I actually know the OP as he is my cousin. That whole family is in and out of therapy because they just don’t get along most of the time. When they decided to get divorced (which they still haven’t) they both agreed it was over. No one in the family thought they would get back together. The pregnant woman is a whole other bag of cats. She was originally going to get an abortion, than decided she just wouldn’t tell him, and finally after being pressured by friends and family she told him. The only ones I feel bad for are the kids because they did not take it well.

The fourth story reminds me of something I've seen a few times, especially for couples that married young, but can happen at any age: a bunch of guys grow up with this concept of what being a husband is, and it comes entirely from their own family. If their father nagged their mother like this, or if that's the concept of marriage they got from whatever media they were exposed to, they may be trying to act like that to "be married." This hits especially hard for people who were raised in subcultures, often church environments, that treated relationships as completely different on either side of the wedding. Before marriage: don't even kiss, be careful holding hands, etc. After marriage: everything is okay! That kind of thing. He may be trying to feel like the shift from dating to marriage is somehow meaningful beyond a contract and ceremony, which in the grand scheme of things it often isn't, so he's reaching for whatever he can to try to make it seem like he's different than from when he was unmarried. He's a "husband" now, or partner in this case, and thinks that comes with certain expectations of behavior. None of that makes what he's doing okay, obviously. It's immature, and frankly it sounds like not only do they both need to communicate more clearly with one another, but they may legitimately benefit from couples' counseling to help make that happen in a relatively healthy manner. Makes me realize maybe it wasn't so crazy that the pastors at the church I grew up in required couples to have several sessions of counseling before getting married.

On the last story, I feel video narrator is a pretty harsh on the guy if we are to take the story at face value. I agree that OP almost certainly engaged in a risky behavior that resulted in the consequences that he is facing. But it's hard to say to what degree of recklessness because we don't know if they used contraception that failed or what. And he didn't get her pregnant when he was getting back with his wife like video guy says. The other woman was already 8 1/2 months pregnant when she told OP. Then video guy says OP just needs to step up and deal with the consequences, but that's exactly what he's doing it sounds like. He immediately said that he would be a part of the kids life. Maybe he would be the jerk for asking for a divorce to hook up with someone else for a while and then changing his mind, but the wife was also involved with another partner during there separation so it seems like they are fairly equal there.

One time, I was at the store with my mom when I was a very little kid and I was in the toy department with her in the Transformers section and I found and grabbed one of the really rare ones, and this family came up to me and my mom and said “THAT TOY IS OURS!!! GIVE IT TO OUR KIDS, OR WE WILL KILL YOUR SON!” Obviously, I couldn’t read yet, so I couldn’t call security. I came up to their kids and took the toy that they grabbed out of my hands. Security, however, did not come and the cops weren’t called. Eventually, we bought the toy and the next week, I brought it to pre-school and my former best friend stole it the next Wednesday. Am I the jerk?

I just got a flashback on the time I went to a swimming pool with my cousin and her friend, nobody else was at the pool so it was just me, my cousin, and her friend, when I was in the pool I couldn't go to the deep end which was only 4ft, and when this happened I didn't know how to swim at the time, and because of that I accidently went to the deep end and almost drowned, but I managed to get back to the safer side, and when I looked at my cousin she didn't even care that I almost died, instead my cousin and her friend just looked at me then proceeded to talk to each other like I wasn't important even though i'm her responsibility and she was supposed to watch over me, and when this happened I was probably 8 or 9 at the time and now i'm 12, my cousin is now 20 and she still hasn't changed, in summer time I came over to my aunt's house to watch my cousin's dog, I have three Cousins, the first one is the oldest, he's more responsible and caring than the other two, my second cousin is the middle child, she was the one that saw me drowning and didn't care and my third cousin is older than me but is the youngest, she likes to call her herself a christian but she's an extremely toxic person, the dog I was taking care of was my eldest cousin's dog and he was paying me 60 dollars each week, I was doing a good job, it just felt difficult because of how toxic my other cousins were, every time I looked up they would always complained about the dog or say toxic things towards me and it made me feel less comfortable, sometimes when we got into arguments my cousins they would call me names or mock me. I was saving up money and my cousin saw how much money I was making, so she decided to manipulate me into buying stuff for her, if I said no to her I would've saved up to 600 dollars or more, and the thing that makes it terrible is that she's 20 and i'm 12 and she used a 12 year old to buy stuff for her, but i'm not gonna cry over because that showed that my 2 cousins doesn't love me or care about me unless I have a bunch of money.
