It is interesting to go down to that part of South Carolina where Aragon Mill and all those textile milks on Mill Row were located, just old vacant buildings now, everything was sent overseas to Asia!!! Si Kahn, who wrote the song was a Union Activist and Official who was trying to help save the Mills!

Where does this song come from? What does it mean? Isn't Aragon a former kingdom in Spain? My last name is Arragon, so I'm quite curious...

It was a mill in Aragon Georgia, US. It likely went the way of a lot of industry in North America that located in other regions for obvious reasons. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aragon_Mill
