People blink more often when they're nervous because stress can make them more sensitive to light and eye strain. Blinking is a normal response to emotional and external factors, such as: Emotional reasons: Anxiety, pain, speaking with someone face-to-face External reasons: Cold, dry, or windy climates, exposure to bright light Blinking also has other important functions, such as: Protecting the eye from dust and objects, Shutting out bright light, and Keeping the eye moist and healthy.

they also do it when they are lying and have a large audience in front of them they are trying to convince they are telling the truth. When their trying to tell the story exactly how they have been practicing the story, so that their audience can feel the emotions they want their story to have while attempting to hold back the natural emotion the body wants to show surrounding the event that happened during the actual event. His blink blink rate pattern screams he is guilty of being involved in some way. IMO I am not an expert, but I have taken several courses on this and follow a lot of experts simply because it interests me big time.

Are you the devil's advocate? The devil's advocate always brings a fiery argument with absolutely NO meaning. A rabbit hole of frustration. A void of useless opinion. A black hole of wasted energy... Advocate for the truth, but if your argument is based solely on the need to make the other person less than you then you're no more than poison! Right? .. Take the antidote! Effort... Don't rebuke to rebuke... Encourage law enforcement to benefit the people and not the other way around! The latter leads to what end? - USMC (Semper Fidelis) SGT E-5 (5811)
