*REALLY* going to feel strange watching next year's Ordination mass at not seeing you at the organ., Karen. I've been listening to a lot of your compositions over the last few weeks "Only For Him" & "Path Of Mercy" just to name a few, having no clue that you were retiring. you will be missed you & Steve are Folk heroes in the Catholic church.

Thanks, Danny. It'll be strange for me to not be at the organ for Ordinations, as well! It's been such a blessing to serve the ND community over the past 23 years. I'm still composing, and will have a new psalm collection out from Liturgical Press (hopefully) by the end of the year called "Let the People Praise You, O God!" I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March so I'm getting my health back on track. Being immuno-compromised is no fun in this time of COVID-19!

@@karenschneiderkirner9813 get better, okay? Last year I was operated for cancers of the kidneys, colon and lungs; praise to GOD I was cured of all three!!! Lady I don't know you personally and opened this site out of curiosity but when I read about your cancer I had to say something. Pray to OUR LADY and St. Joseph that GOD'S Will may be accomplished in you. One last thing my type II diabetes was CURED too. I guess GOD just got tired of my nagging. Good luck and GOD bless dear lady and say a prayer for me and my heroic beloved wife of 30+ years.

Danny, thanks so much for your very kind message! Just to let you know, I'm now full-time in Music & Liturgy at Church of Our Lady of Loretto, just west of N.D., serving the Sisters of the Holy Cross and the wonderful community that gathers at our 9:15 am Sunday morning services, that you can find on KZbin. God is not done with me yet! Hope to meet you in person sometime.

I'm now serving the Sisters of the Holy Cross at Church of Our Lady of Loretto, adjacent to St. Mary's College and just west of N.D. I pray everyday that God will work through my daily life. I'm so glad to hear of all your health successes and your long marriage. Prayers and blessings for many more healthy years ahead, serving the people of God.

Thanks, Carol! It's a very fun organ to play! Hope Skyler can come and play it sometime. It's like a lot of different European organs rolled into one, a real jewel for our state and region of the country.
