Some countries simply include them in the bill but all is upfront and set fee to give the customers the power to decide if they're comfortable with the price BEFORE the food is prepared instead of an undetermined amount as some of you will freak out at getting $4 as tips for servers. What a joke. Take the order, send the food, clean the table and an additional $4 is too low? I'd fire you in an instant for forcing a customer to tip above $4 which I've done to some stuck up servers of mine if they demand anything more than $4.

Like service desk workers helping you get your internet back. When was the last time a dispatcher was tipped for getting emergency personnel on location in time? A firefighter tipped for saving your burning house? A police officer tipped for responding and handling your call? We need to fix the food service industry and end tipping altogether. Some restaurants not able to afford paying their workers isn't a valid excuse, because once again that type of answer in most other business is....close your business and file for bankruptcy. Maybe it would get more people to cook from home too and save them some cash.

I don't blame the delivery guy. I order offline all the time and I appreciate it so much and I always give nice tips and that lady is a rude piece of 💩 and i would have taken the stuff back too. And she talking about they don’t believe in giving tips and called it handouts, but she believe in having someone go shopping for her and deliver her items for free. They should go get their own groceries and those people don’t get paid much which should be against the law cause some people don’t tip just like that unappreciated thing

To delivery drivers: 1) Don't accept orders without tips. 2) Some people tip AFTER the delivery is done correctly and items respectfully placed. 3) Some people pay tips in cash only. ❤

He isn’t entitled to her tip. While I think it’s weird she said she doesn’t “believe” in tipping, since there are such hardworking people who go above and beyond in their work and most definitely deserve it, there is no law where she has to, it’s simply a courtesy. He signed up for the job, meaning he was aware of the pay and his responsibilities, took the order knowing there was no tip included, just to deliver it and take it back? Why waste the gas, and what’s with the lecture? Just don’t take the order. Who’d want to tip after this type of service. Everyone saying he’s entitled to it needs to grow tf up, why don’t you have the same energy for the actual company that aren’t paying them a livable wage in the first place?

That girl with the grocery order is 100% in the wrong. Entitled for sure. If I order Instacart I absolutely tip probably more than I should because it’s ME who can’t leave the house so yes that tip is a thank you for doing the heavy lifting and navigating stores for me. Saves me hours on shopping and the stress. Whoever her parents are did not teach her manners. So sad!!
