A friend of mine who is a retail manager once refused to reprimand a Black employee for physically dragging a drunk woman from the premises and throwing her onto the concrete outside. This was caught on camera and resulted in a disciplinary hearing. When two colleagues were called as witnesses attesting to the fact that the woman had three times called him the n-word, he got off with a verbal warning due to the extreme provocation, and kept his job.
