It seems inherent, to be honest, as if vlogs are just naturally the best evolution of behind-the-scenes. Something about it being done from a personal viewpoint -- what she says, who and what she chooses to record, and the tone she sets from her emotions about each part of the process -- is a lot of fun. Because someone else in a different role, whether a co-star or a member of the crew, could make the process seem like an entirely different film! A professional project is best for posterity and serious education but this, for fun insight and knowledge, is great.

I'm not much of a film person at all, but it's always incredibly interesting to get a genuine look behind the scenes of large projects like this. No flashy editing or awkward interviews or scripted voice overs or manipulative music, just raw captures of arbitrary moments of real people doing real things.

I appreciate her filming the process, we need more behind the scenes for more movies from the perspective of the actors on set/the production crew. Inspire more people to act, direct and produce by showing the process and what it takes to make something great. Also, they could be practicing anywhere but they have an entire set that looks like a ship to help them with the imagination aspect of being on set and although thats mostly due to being a larger corporation I would love to see more production studios doing this as opposed to the actors having to use 100% of their imagination for every shot.
@codmanout9861 Жыл бұрын
The era of the BTS is sadly dying off fairly quickly. I think either audiences or studios are just losing interest. I mean, 10 years ago, literally any DVD you bought had special features equaling or surpassing the length of the movie it accompanied, composed of blooper reels, behind the scenes, production featurettes, not to mention audio commentaries from the writers/directors, cast, and/or crew. These days, you're lucky to get a blooper reel or production demo, and heaven forbid someone even mentions a commentary.

Holy shit. Okay Karen you are an actual goddess for doing this and it's insane that you were even ALLOWED TO!! I am a huge cinematic fan. Whether it's the story, psychology of characters/lore, but especially the production bit. And if there's one thing I just wish more content existed it is behind the scenes look at how an actual day at the set looks like for the highest-budgeted film productions in Hollywood. All we usually get is these press-edited snippets of actors doing some type of bloopers, or some 40-second clip of single takes. But never a whole vlog about it. It is such a fantastic breath of fresh air to see something we're used to seeing in one format, but instead of seeing the end product, we see the product through the eyes of our favorite actors/characters. Not only is this incredibly interesting to see for a fan. But such a good learning experience for those people who wants to work within the industry. And to see how an actual day at work looks and feels like. Thank you, Karen. not only for just blowing my mind with your insane acting talent on screen. But also for showing everyone and everything involved in making the whole thing become the masterpieces that it is.
