I'm in the same boat with retirement, 401K, and a veteran. We're good, but the Millennials & Gen Z is the battleground. Talk to them and see what their issues are. They're not the same as ours & they roll a different way. The democrats have to use their time and energy on them. IMO, it's a waste of time to talk to Blk Trump supporters, but I guess some think they can sway them, I don't. That conversation is more worth it; they could move to the democratic party if the policies are right!

You are the first person I’ve heard verbalize my own thoughts. 25 years ago I unknowingly married into what has become a 100%, military backed, college educated, Trump worshipping family. At their highest some have since 2016 stock piled freeze dried food in the master closet of a new 5 bedroom house, built to withstand a CAT 5 hurricane or nuclear fallout. Others have stockpiled cheap, polyester shirts emblazoned with eagles and the American flag. But at their worst, they have now sought out, and taken a 4 year boy old and a 6 year old girl to a gun club in the Panhandle of Florida to “learn how to responsibly handle a firearm.” One thing I am absolutely certain of is that I bear witness to learned hate behavior on a regular basis within my this family. I am sick, and really fucking tired. But, because I’ve now heard you put my thoughts into words, I know that I am not alone. I appreciate your NYC-related references to Donald Trump. I lived in NYC during those horrific years and Trump was a masterful piece of shit then along with Leona Helmsley. You’ve said it best, they’ve nothing to lose voting Republican. But the masses will suffer from it. I will proudly stand in my voting booth this November and cast my 💙 vote for you, and yours, and many others in defiance and in support of the global majority. As our sister, Prof. Hunter, always says: "... let's put our emotions to the side and strategize." It's about strategy people (even the idea of registering Rep. in those key states, a strategy well known within Rep. circles). These people are not playing games. For example, this man called in, pretending to be a sensible and sincere advisor. Before he made the call, he convinced himself he was neutral so his speech would follow by leading with the pretense that he disagrees with both sides, all while knowing he was a MAGA supporter. That's what they call a wolf in sheep's clothing. Some of you have no idea who we are dealing with, but unfortunately, you'll learn one day, the hard way. Luckily, some of these callers seemed to always F around and found out that Karen Hunter is a practicing journalist, a professor at the collegiate level, and an editor if I'm not mistaken.
