Judge Newman, “ I don’t understand why the state didn’t ask for the death penalty! when your law office condemned people to death with less of a crime than what you did”. 🧐👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽That was fall off my couch statement.

It's such a breath of fresh air listening to actual scholars discuss our issues. Believe me, on these KZbin spaces there's a lot of ignorance with a lot of followers. Speaking of voting, I'm a reluctant voter. I vote but I don't feel it changes anything. I know folks will say it's an ignorant statement. But I've never read anything in history about people getting actual freedom voting for it. They literally fought and shed blood for freedom. This scares people... But as far as I know, not fighting for freedom is the first in human history. I've seen quite a few young folks getting frustrated, even to the point of crying, over the racism in this country. Ivie Anita is a KZbinr from Africa who covers a lot of issues and is real good at what she does played a Tik Tok video of this young sister crying over what they're doing in Mississippi. It hurt and frustrated me at the same time. I don't know how long this can go on. It's the same song, just a different year. I'll yield from my rambling. Thank you both (and the many others you have on your show) for continuing on educating us.

Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has dropped the ball as shown in the outcome of the presidential election held on the 25th February 2023. Doing the right is about moral consistency . The INEC was not faithful to the Electoral Act 2022 and the INEC guidelines, which is, simply a recipe for disastrous outcomes. Ghana should learn from the mistakes and the impact that Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) had on Nigeria in 1986 under the support of the IMF and WB. The AU has a duty to control the external interferences facing the continent, be it foreign loans or foreign investments. The continent must try to survive within its means sustainably and to take into consideration the needs of the future generations. We cannot allow the scenarios of 1884 to repeat themselves in the continent.

1:00:35 I live in Charleston, South Carolina. I’m a registered voter since the 1990’s, & I’ve not had jury duty. I’ve also worked in a law firm where I’ve seen how they pick & eliminate people for jury duty. That process seemed discriminatory. Like looking at people’s education, their social media pages, their aesthetics, friending people on social media to find out more about them, etc.

My understanding is Mississippi has a statewide system voting system similar to the electoral college. To win statewide office you must also win a majority of the counties in the state. Black people are concentrated hence why nk blacks have held statewide offi e in Mississippi in a very very long time.

The Government of Ghana in hindsight would have been better off making a deal with America, in my opinion, they could have streamlined African Americans coming home with such a partnership and they probably should make a deal where China gets 70 % of financial gains of the ports and Airport until the debt is repaid but to jump into another deal with another Country that doesn't value people of a darker hue is ignorance. I could be wrong, and I would love a class on why.

1:40:45 Might not be the same thing, but I’ve seen countless white college students “loitering” in Starbucks (they use the place as a study location), & no one ever says anything to them about staying “forever”. There were times I use to go various times of the day, & couldn’t find a table to sit because students monopolized the location. But I don’t go to Starbucks anymore.

On the question of the police asking for an ID. In the Caribbean any upstanding member of our community can vouch for another person in the community in relation to any legal matter including that incident Professor Car was relating. The difference between Nubians in the United States and us Nubians in the Caribbean is that we are Independent politically and rule ourselves whereas White Humans are in a position of power and possibly in the majority.
