a flamingo party sounds fun. I've been organizing a 22,000 tub of mixed perler beads so i don't have to hunt for colors on my next project. i must say, the rug idea us awesome. i have a lot of yarn and no crochet skills so that's perfect!

Do you think the magnet would've still been strong enough if you glued it inside the paper triangles? I'm just thinking that would visually look very clean, but don't want it to mess with the function!! Lots of cool ideas here :D

Good idea! You'd probably have to use stronger magnets than I did, but try it out and let me know how it goes!

Loved them all. The perler beads, my daughter is into a little, may get her some more of the regular ones. She started out with the minis. My favorites. besides the beads, is the pom pom rug and the triangle magnets. Great idea for the fridge!! Thanks for the great ideas! Flamingo Party!

Flamingo Party! I love the pom pom rug! And perler beads are awesome. Those keychains you made could be made into fridge/locker magnets as well if you just glue a magnet to one side. I actually bought a perler bead magnet in the shape of a mushroom from Super Mario at booth at a small comic convention :)

For the triangles (diy 1) I put the magnet inside of the triangle during the folding process so it's super cool how it doesn't appear to be magnetic but it is!

I'm definitely going to make those little pyramid magnets, but I'm gunna try gluing the magnet on the inside before closing the shape so it's a cleaner look overall. They look like so much fun :)

Hi! Quick tip: While watching the first project, the triangle magnets, i realized that you could add the magnets inside before you glue the triangle. This would add a feeling of "creative magic" to the triangle.

The perler bead project definitely is super relaxing, unless you have giant, ape hands. Than it's really annoying, because you knock over all the beads and have to restart. Oh, and... FLAMINGO PARTY!!!

For the duct tape tassle thing I think you could put one of those little battery lights for them. What do you think?

For the perler bead keychains, when you are ironing, don't push down too hard on the iron, it will flatten. Also, when doing the ironing, have a wax paper under so it doesn't stick to the ironing board.

Do you ever have trouble with your perler bead boards melting?

A few of mine have gotten slightly warped, but they're still usable. Just make sure you keep your iron on a medium heat instead of cranking it all the way up!
