This is such a lovely painting, Karen! I love that you included so much technical content in it in such a short time frame. It is easy to follow and the end result is wonderful. I think the addition of the people really added to the painting and I get a calm and cozy feeling looking at it 😊. I am a beginning watercolorist so this will be a wonderful painting for me to practice those techniques. I will definitely give it a go by the weekend and see how I do 😀 thanks so much! 💕

Thank you, Karen. I'm so glad you didn't show us the painting before you began using your imagination. What a terrific lesson. Watching someone who knows what they re doing is so useful - it’s also made me rethink my (so far) tepid response to watercolour - you’ve demonstrated how to “control” this fluid medium. The water on paper and brush seems a mystery to me, but your explanations are so helpful. I’m going to try watercolour again with renewed interest. And I LOVE the end result of your painting here. Great tips and clear instructions. Subscribed!
