This is such a lovely painting, Karen! I love that you included so much technical content in it in such a short time frame. It is easy to follow and the end result is wonderful. I think the addition of the people really added to the painting and I get a calm and cozy feeling looking at it 😊. I tried this on my low quality practice paper. I just wanted to do a quick rough draft to get the colors right and other things before I put it on my good paper. The results were not what I expected. It came out looking great! I even framed it and looks even better of course I'm very new at water coloring too! I can't wait to put this on my nice paper. Thank you, I learned a lot.

Beautiful!! I studied art all through school & university then fate stepped in and I ended up spending my entire career in automotive quality and engineering. Oh Karen, when I saw the thumbnail for this I was already excited but couldn't believe when I watched the entire video, how simple it seems to be. No drawing! Two colours! And adding the figures at the end was a fab idea. I'm supposed to be working but how can I when I have to try out this beauty? Thanks so much - yet again. I really love this - but it is not as simple as it seems to control the dampness of the paper for so long so I will have to work at that - I'm way too out of practice but am coming back thanks to you. 💕💕☘☘

Thank you Dearbhla… it kind of evolved… so pleased you liked the figures. Keeping the paper damp takes practice. Saunders Waterford stays damp for quite a while. That’s my go girl o paper, especially if I am demonstrating to students 😀
