I have noticed on the zoom court system that there are a fair number of people who do this. I have seen a couple of judges that said the people had to move or do something to make their faces recognizable. But many of the judges just let it go. I wonder if those judges would also let a person appear in person in court with a mask on.

I accidentally missed a court date that was to determine the residential custody of my child. That alone speaks volumes about her. It appears that her main concern is that she is paying support. I get the feeling (from decades of experience) that if she wasn't ordered to pay support, there would have been no hearing.

@@snooganslestat2030unfortunately, the court (even when a call is made to inform them of an inability to appear) has very few options when one party fails to show for a custody determination hearing. Most of the time, a default judgement is made in favor of whichever party is present. I’m sure there are instances wherein a judge, or even the other party, will permit a continuance- it just is not standard practice.

Technically a criminal minded person all have a deception mindset and yes the system already knows they coming back because statistics shows they will repeat their criminal behavior and get back locked up because they fear to change or use excuses to justify their actions, judges knows very well they lying but give ppl the opportunity to change before they make a bigger mistake that will cost their life but set them free to prove that theory. Many of those coming through court don’t have jobs, most do drugs, and many have a history so like they always say,” the truth will always be in front of you” 💯

This is why you hire an attorney for Pete's sake. Want to get your kid back A. don't miss court and B. hire an attorney. Some attorneys will set up payment plans if you don't have the cash upfront. I had a guy I worked with who's ex played all the games in Cook County, Mike's neck of the woods, and he had a running tab of $5K with his attorney. He would pay what he could monthly and she kept growing his tab. Nice divorce annuity for his lawyer.I think she is going to stomp her feet. Then the crying, "I didn't get my way! waaaa, waaaa, waaaaa."

My children have been taken from me. Just because they are married and in their 50's, that shouldn't be the end of it.

Out of curiosity if I wanted to watch local cases how would I go about that? I’m interested in seeing some of the cases the judges in my county deal with

It depends on your county. Different jurisdictions have different policies on recording in courtrooms, and judges have a lot of discretion on how that happens too. Some courts live stream theirs, others don't allow cameras in the courtroom at all. If your county allows it, you could probably find it on the county court's website, or by calling the courthouse and asking how you could access it.

How come I always hear "I have an interview foe a new job tomorrow ","I'm looking forward to starting a new job next week", but rarely ever do I hear "I have an actual, full time, and tax paying form of employment CURRENTLY "
