2:35 fun fact: pink was actually supposed to be a “boy” color, because it was bold and vibrant (I think) and blue was supposed a “girl” color because the color blue was something about being dainty

It's because of color theory. Blue is calm and gentle and red is bright, vibrant, bold and energetic. But pink is a tint of red to subtle it a bit to avoid being seen as too rebelious. Women had an uprising and claimed pink afterwards as a sort of protest that women don't have to just wear calm colors. Very interesting stuff.

I agree with Lia. Why does it seem like it's so hard for certain people to just be nice? Like, why? Why can't you just show even a sliver of kindness? I am fortunate enough to not have encountered a Karen as of yet, but that will most likely change when I get a job. I feel for anybody (especially fast food and retail workers) who deals with people like this on a regular basis. My heart goes out to you 🙏 ❤

As a restaurant worker I’ve met my fair share of Karen’s and Kens and we always ask this same question? How difficult is it to be polite? Kindness takes you a lot further than being rude and doesn’t cost a thing. So thank you for this comment. Some of the stories I could tell would astound most people.
